Randomized Controlled Trial
Comparison of intragastric pressure between endotracheal tube and supraglottic airway devices in laparoscopic hepatectomy: A randomized, controlled, non-inferiority study.
Supraglottic airway (SGA) devices do not definitively protect the airway from regurgitation of gastric contents. Increased gastric pressure and long operation time are associated with development of complications such as aspiration pneumonia. The aim of this study was to compare intragastric pressure between second-generation SGA and endotracheal tube (ETT) devices during long-duration laparoscopic hepatectomy. ⋯ Use of SGA devices does not further increase intragastric pressure, even during prolonged upper abdominal laparoscopic surgery. Also, the frequency of postoperative sore throat and cough was significantly lower when the second-generation SGA device was used.

The effect of three-circle post standing (Zhanzhuang) qigong on the physical and psychological well-being of college students: A randomized controlled trial.
Qigong has a long-term application by integration of mind, breath and body to prevent and cure diseases. Researches show that qigong practice could adjust anxiety, the mechanism may found on brain and heart functions. Currently there are limitations on qigong's anxiety-release mechanism study between mind and body, and existing studies lack of evidence on electrophysiology research. Our objective to analyse qigong's anxiety-release effect and mechanism. ⋯ The protocol was approved by the institutional review boards of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (2018BZHYLL0109). This study was registered with the "Chinese Clinical Trail Registry" in the WHO Registry Network (ChiCTR-Bon-17010840).

Multicenter Study Observational Study
Multicenter analysis and a rapid screening model to predict early novel coronavirus pneumonia using a random forest algorithm.
Early determination of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pneumonia from numerous suspected cases is critical for the early isolation and treatment of patients. The purpose of the study was to develop and validate a rapid screening model to predict early COVID-19 pneumonia from suspected cases using a random forest algorithm in China. A total of 914 initially suspected COVID-19 pneumonia in multiple centers were prospectively included. ⋯ The confusion matrix revealed that the prospective screening model had an accuracy of 87.0% for predicting early COVID-19 pneumonia. Here, we developed and validated a rapid screening model that could predict early COVID-19 pneumonia with high sensitivity and specificity. The use of this model to screen for COVID-19 pneumonia have epidemiological and clinical significance.

Multicenter Study Observational Study
Efficacy and safety of danoprevir plus sofosbuvir in GT 1, 2, 3, or 6 chronic hepatitis C patients with or without cirrhosis in China.
All-oral direct-acting antiviral therapies are becoming the choice for hepatitis C (HCV) treatment. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ritonavir-boosted danoprevir (DNVr) plus sofosbuvir±ribavirin on HCV genotype 1, 2, 3, or 6 in the real world in China. In this observational, prospective, multicenter cohort, we enrolled a total of 58 patients with HCV genotype 1, 2, 3, or 6 patients from July 2018 to December 2019. ⋯ No serious event was observed during the treatment and follow-up. Only 5 patients had mild adverse events. DNVr plus sofosbuvir ± ribavirin for 12 weeks provided 100% SVR12 in a broad patient population and were well tolerated, which may be a promising regimen for CHC treatment.

Acne is associated with depression and anxiety; however, the relationship between acne and suicide is still unclear. This study is aimed to evaluate the association between acne and suicide by conducting a meta-analysis. Studies were identified by electronic searches of the PubMed and EMBASE databases from their inception through Jan 10, 2020. ⋯ Clinicians should actively treat acne and consider suicide screening. Further international studies with high-quality analyses are needed as more data are published. Ethical approval and patient consent are not required because this study is a literature-based study.
