Primary dysmenorrhea (PD) is a functional disease of the female reproductive system, which has adverse effects on patients' physical and mental health and quality of life. At present, acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as adjuvant therapy is undergoing clinical trials in different medical centers. However, there is no systematic review or meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy of acupoint application of TCM in the treatment of PD. There is also a lack of systematic evaluation and analysis of acupoints and herbs. ⋯ Our findings will provide evidence for the effectiveness and potential treatment prescriptions of acupoint application for patients with PD.PROSPERO registration number: CRD 42021244357.

Meta Analysis
Flow-diverting device versus coil embolization for unruptured intracranial aneurysm: A meta-analysis.
Both coil embolization (CE) and flow-diverting device (FDD) placement are widely used for treatment of intracranial aneurysms (IAs). The aim of this meta-analysis is to compare the relative clinical safety and efficacy of FDD and CE for the treatment of unruptured IAs. ⋯ FDDs can be used to effectively and safely treat large and giant IAs, achieving higher rates of complete occlusion than CE treatment. For non-large/giant IAs, we observed comparable efficacy between FDD and CE treatments.

There are 3 different types of mid-urethral sling, retropubic, transobturator and single incision performed for women with stress urinary incontinence. Prior studies comparing these three surgeries merely focused on the successful rate or efficacy. But nevertheless, what is more clinically important dwells upon investigating postoperative complications as a safety improvement measure. ⋯ Complications of mid-urethral sling are higher than previously thought and it is important to follow up on their long-term outcomes; future research should not neglect to address this issue as a means to improve patient safety.

Gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) is an infrequent spectrum of placental malignant cases. Generally, single-agent or multiple-agent chemotherapy is used to treat the condition. The condition has a significant impact on women in the childbearing age, which makes post-chemo fertility and obstetrical results a significant contemplation. Nearly 25% of GTN tumors are recurrent, or have a likelihood of relapsing after, the first round of chemotherapy. Therefore, these resistive and recurring lesions require salvage chemotherapy with or without surgical treatment. Therefore, the current meta-analysis and systematic review will assess the effectiveness and level of safety when using chemotherapy to treat women with resistive or recurring GTN. ⋯ May 17, 2021.osf.io/uwky7. Globally, coronary heart disease (CHD) is a primary cause of morbidity leading to disabilities and mortality. Modern clinical practice adopts several pharmacological methods to treat CHD. Angina pectoris refers to sever chest pain due to CHD, it has a profound impact on the wellbeing of patients. Moreover, angina pectoris is a crucial prognosis predictor. The aim of the current study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safeness of using combined rosuvastatin and atorvastatin to treat CHD patients. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/VYBDR (https://osf.io/vybdr/).
