Meta Analysis
The effectiveness of massage interventions on procedural pain in neonates: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
The painful procedures experienced by neonates during hospitalization have short-term or long-term effects on neonates. While the limitations of previous interventions make it imperative to explore effective interventions that are readily available. This systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of massage for pain management in neonates. ⋯ Massage may have a positive effect on pain relief of neonate, and rigorous trials are needed in the future to determine the most effective massage method.

Beirut Port blast's magnitude is considered the third after Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings. This blast occurred in the densely populated section of Beirut, leaving more than six thousand injured patients. The psychological disturbances were assessed in the blast survivors who presented to the Emergency Department (ED) at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC). ⋯ Almost half of the participants showed depression on PHQ, and 2-thirds had PTSD. The participant's age was negatively associated with PTSD, whereas being a female, having depression, and having a concussion were positively associated with PTSD. The results of this study were in line with the previous literature report except for the association between younger age and PTSD, which warrants further investigations to delineate the reasons.

The angiotensin receptor and neprilysin inhibitor, LCZ696, in heart failure: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
LCZ696 is a novel neuroendocrine inhibitor that has been widely used in heart failure (HF). However, its advantage over other neuroendocrine inhibitors, such as angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEis) and angiotensin-receptor blockers (ARBs) has not been fully elucidated. This study aimed to provide the latest evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of LCZ696 as compared to other ACEis and ARBs with regards to the treatment of HF. ⋯ LCZ696 is superior to ACEis and ARBs in the treatment of HF. Hence, it should be more widely used clinically.

Meta Analysis
The efficacy of irinotecan supplementation for colorectal cancer: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled studies.
The efficacy of irinotecan as the adjunctive therapy to fluorouracil and leucovorin remains controversial in patients with colorectal cancer. We conduct this meta-analysis to explore the efficacy of irinotecan supplementation for colorectal cancer. ⋯ Irinotecan as the adjunctive therapy to fluorouracil and leucovorin can increase the survival and objective response of patients with colorectal cancer, but the incidence of grade ≥3 adverse events is found to be increased after irinotecan supplementation.
