Fetal lung adenocarcinoma (FLAC) is a rare malignant tumor that occurs in the alveolar epithelium. FLAC, as a distinct entity, is a malignancy with a very low incidence, accounting for less than 0.5% of all lung tumors, with a high rate of misdiagnosis due to its rarity, lack of typical presentation and imaging signs. According to histopathological differences, FLAC is further divided into 2 types: low-grade FLAC and high-grade FLAC. In the article, we report a young woman who was diagnosed with low-grade fetal-type lung adenocarcinoma. ⋯ To the best of our knowledge, there are no previous case reports of low-grade fetal-type adenocarcinoma, TP53 gene mutation, and the significance of its mutation is not extensively studies. FLAC, although extremely rare, is considered in the differential diagnosis of lung cancer. In addition, biopsy, histopathology, and specific immunohistochemical staining of larger tissue specimens are helpful for accurate diagnosis of FLAC.

To determine the prevalence of prehypertension (PH) and hypertension (AH) in quilombola children and adolescents, as well as to analyze sociodemographic, behavioral, and health characteristics. Prevalence study conducted in random samples of quilombola children and adolescents from 06 to 19 years of age, in remaining quilombo communities in Cachoeira-Bahia. Identification, sociodemographic, behavioral, anthropometric, and blood pressure (BP) data were used. ⋯ Normotensive children and adolescents, and those with alterations in BP differed only in terms of the Body Mass Index (P = .007) and WHtR (P < .001). The consumption of unhealthy foods was high. The high prevalence of PH and AH, as well as of exposure to potential risk factors for AH in quilombola children and adolescents, reveals a worrisome situation, and demands further studies to identify risk factors for this disease and the need for interventions beyond the health sector, especially as regards disease prevention and control in the early stages of life, aiming to reduce its prevalence as adults.

Numerous studies have identified factors related to nurses’ intention to leave. However, none has successfully predicted the nurse’s intention to quit the job. Whether the intention to quit the job can be predicted is an interesting topic in healthcare settings. A model to predict the nurse’s intention to quit the job for novice nurses should be investigated. The aim of this study is to build a model to develop an app for the automatic prediction and classification of nurses’ intention to quit their jobs. ⋯ We performed ANN on Microsoft Excel, which is rare in the literature. An app was built to display results using a visual dashboard on Google Maps. The animation-featured dashboard was incorporated with the ANN model, allowing an easy understanding of the classification results with visual representations. The category probability curves were uniquely derived from the Rasch rating scale model and launched to the ANN prediction model to display the binary classification, using probability to interpret the prediction results.

Infants are often hospitalized because of lower respiratory tract infections, and overuse of antibiotics to treat such infections has led to severe problems. Herbal medicines may be more effective and safer than antibiotics. Mahaenggamseok-tang is a common herbal medicine in Asia, but the evidence for its effectiveness in lower respiratory tract infection treatment is insufficient. This review assesses the efficacy of Mahaenggamseok-tang in treating lower respiratory tract infections. ⋯ Mahaenggamseok-tang plus Western medicine is more effective and safer than Western medicine alone for treating lower respiratory tract infections. However, the included randomized controlled trials were not randomized well; therefore, better randomized randomized controlled trials are needed to make significant recommendations.PROSPERO registration number: CRD42020165698.

Oral pigmentation as an adverse effect of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine use: A scoping review.
Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are 2 medications used to treat some systemic diseases. ⋯ The outcomes of this study suggest that hyperpigmentation depend on drug dosage and treatment length. Hyperpigmentation was detected after a long period of treatment with chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine.
