There is still scarce and sparse evidence regarding documentation of the subjective, objective, assessment and plan (SOAP) note in community pharmacies despite its long implementation history in clinical and academia settings. Hence, we aimed to document and maintain SOAP notes for individual patients visiting community pharmacies for their health problems. We conducted a community-based cross-sectional study at 2 community pharmacies in Nepal from July to December 2019. ⋯ There were 226 (56.5%) cases with follow-up planned for the patients when necessary. This novel approach in documenting SOAP notes at community pharmacies during dispensing would be an extended form of the same being applied in clinical settings. Hence, this would open a new arena for the community pharmacists to expand their professionalism beyond the clinical and academia by documenting patients' complex disease and medication profiles in their documentation.

Prevalence of flatfoot among young Korean males and the correlation among flatfoot angles measured in weight-bearing lateral radiographs.
Flatfoot causes significant fatigue and pain while walking, and even asymptomatic flatfoot may increase the risk of metatarsal stress fracture during long-distance walking. While most studies have used physical examination or plantar footprints to diagnose flatfoot, a weight-bearing radiograph of the foot provides more objective data. However, data on the prevalence of flatfoot in Asian populations gathered in a nationwide cohort of a specific age group is lacking. ⋯ The prevalence of total flatfoot and moderate-to-severe flatfoot in 19-year-old Korean males based on a weight-bearing lateral radiograph was 2.9% and 0.9%, respectively. The correlation coefficients between TMAs and CPAs showed a low degree of positive correlation. Higher BMI was associated with the likelihood of the presence of flatfoot.

Psoriasis Vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by keratinocyte hyperproliferation. Bibliometric analysis helps determine the most influential article on the topic of "Psoriasis Vulgaris and biological agents (PVBAs)", and what factors affect article citation remain unclear. This study aims (1) to identify the top 100 most cited articles in PVBA (PVBA100 for short) from 1991 to 2020, (2) to visualize dominant entities on one diagram using data in PVBA100, and (3) to investigate whether medical subject headings (MeSH terms) can be used to predict article citations. ⋯ The breakthrough was made by developing one dashboard to display PVBA100. MeSH terms can be used for predicting article citations in PVBA100. These visualizations of PVBA100 could be applied to future academic pursuits and applications in other academic disciplines.

Medial humeral epicondyle fractures account for 10% to 20% of elbow injuries in children. We hypothesized that in the fixation of medial humeral epicondyle fractures, safety and efficiency of bioabsorbable poly(l-lactide-co-glycolic acid) implant are comparable to traditional metallic and other novel approaches. A retrospective cohort study was performed between 2016 and 2019, analyzing 24 children who had medial humeral epicondyle fractures. ⋯ Bioabsorbable pins with absorbable sutures are a good alternative treatment of medial epicondyle humeral fracture. No permanent complications were noted while using this technique. We suggest this method because it does not require a secondary (metal removal) operation.

Head and neck cancer (HNC) is a very popular cancer, with many primary sites and pathological types, at the top of the list of tumors. Chemokines are a class of small molecular basic proteins, whose N-terminal cysteine residues can be divided into four subunits by location and number, which significantly enhances the expression level in all kinds of cancers. However, in HNC, especially in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, the chemokine CXCL8/9/10/11/13 has not been clearly explored for its diagnosis and prognosis. ⋯ In this study, our results suggest that chemokine CXCL8/9/10/11/13 may play a critical role in the development of HNC, and, according to relevant data, it may affect the survival and prognosis of patients with HNC.
