Immune system deregulation, including AAV, is a key event that may potentially evolve into ESRD. Abnormal activation of the cAP is also a cardinal feature of TMA, particularly aHUS. The kidney is the most frequently involved organ, and renal-limited forms of TMA are often encountered in clinical practice. Isolated case reports described the occurrence of renal TMA in AAV patients. Some cases of both de novo and relapses of AAV and/or TMAs after anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccination have been reported. We reported, for the 1st time, a case of patients with new-onset MPA and aHUS occurring 3 weeks after the third dose of mRNA-1273 vaccine anti-SARS-CoV2. ⋯ To our knowledge we observed the first case aHUS, without genetic predisposition, associated with MPA occurring after the third dose of anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccine. This case report highlights the potential link between anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccine as a trigger of MPA and aHUS. This systematic review offers additional perspectives. It is plausible to hypothesize that the vaccine was the trigger for the development of these 2 diseases.Solid evidence on the mechanisms of interaction between vaccine and immune system, the role of genetic predisposition, and other variables, will shed additional light on the controversial link between anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccine and autoimmunity.

Magnetic resonance imaging for the diagnosis of malignant mixed Mullerian tumor of ovary: Two case reports.
Malignant mixed Mullerian tumor (MMMT) is also known as carcinosarcoma, mostly occurring in the uterus, and occurred in ovary is very rare. The disease is highly aggressive. Two cases of MMMT of ovary and their imaging characteristics were collected in our study. ⋯ The disease is highly malignant and progresses rapidly. The elevation of CA125 should be taken seriously. The imaging findings of MMMT has certain characteristics. Multi-sequence magnetic resonance imaging may help to distinguish this disease from other pelvic tumors. Once found, surgical treatment is needed as soon as possible, followed by postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Neuroendocrine tumors usually arise from the gastrointestinal and pulmonary tracts and rarely from the skin. We report a unique case of high-grade neuroendocrine carcinoma with positive steroid hormone receptors in the primary skin of the groin. ⋯ The morphology of this tumor is unique and previously unreported, further expanding the possible pathogenesis and histological morphologies of this tumor type.

Case report: Interstitial lung disease of XELOEX chemotherapy with cetuximab in advanced colon cancer induced.
This paper presents a case of a Chinese patient with advanced colon cancer who developed drug-induced interstitial lung disease while undergoing treatment with cetuximab combined with XELOX. ⋯ This case highlights the need for regular pulmonary imaging examinations during cetuximab therapy, as drug-induced interstitial lung disease may be associated with the dose and duration of treatment.

The ring finger protein 213 (RNF213) p.R4810K variant has been identified as being associated with Moyamoya disease (MMD), a condition that is more prevalent in East Asians. This association extends beyond cerebral vessels and has been implicated in coronary artery disease. ⋯ Although MMD is rare in Western populations, it is more common in East Asian populations. Traditionally, MMD diagnoses have focused solely on the cerebral vessels without guidelines for the assessment of other vascular involvements. This familial case underscores the fact that a single genetic mutation can manifest in diverse ways in different diseases. Hence, the need and regularity of systemic vessel screening should be thoughtfully considered in such a context.
