Case report: Interstitial lung disease of XELOEX chemotherapy with cetuximab in advanced colon cancer induced.
This paper presents a case of a Chinese patient with advanced colon cancer who developed drug-induced interstitial lung disease while undergoing treatment with cetuximab combined with XELOX. ⋯ This case highlights the need for regular pulmonary imaging examinations during cetuximab therapy, as drug-induced interstitial lung disease may be associated with the dose and duration of treatment.

Coagulation factor V deficiency is rare, and perioperative management of patients with this condition is particularly important, especially during major abdominal surgery. We present a case of a patient with pancreatic duct stones combined with coagulation factor V deficiency. We share our perioperative management experience. ⋯ Patients with a deficiency of coagulation factor V are not contraindicated for surgery. Appropriate Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) replacement therapy can ensure the safe conduct of the surgical procedure. For patients with abnormal blood coagulation function, we recommend testing for coagulation factors and inhibitors, as well as performing genetic testing for abnormal coagulation factors, which can provide guidance on marriage and childbirth.

Endometriosis refers to a series of symptoms caused by the presence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterine cavity. In extrapelvic endometriosis, abdominal wall endometriosis (AWE) is very common. Acupuncture therapy has been widely used as an alternative therapy to treat multiple diseases, such as sequelae of stroke, pain, and facial paralysis. To our knowledge, case reports of acupuncture for the treatment of AWE has not been reported. We report a case of acupuncture in the treatment of abdominal endometriosis. ⋯ Acupuncture can effectively relieve the pain caused by abdominal endometriosis and reduce the size of abdominal endometriosis masses.

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is an uncommon benign myofibroblastic tumor that usually occurs in the lung, mediastinum, abdomen and vulvovaginal region. IMT of the upper arm is exceedingly rare with unknown etiology. Pathology plays a major role in the diagnosis of IMT, and radiological characteristics of the condition are crucial for differential diagnosis. ⋯ In this report, we describe a case of IMT of the upper arm with BA involvement. The case expands the differential diagnosis of limb neoplasm and broadens the understanding of its ultrasonic and radiological imaging features. It also serves as a further example of an uncommon region distinct from conventional IMT. Further studies on the etiology and therapeutic strategies are needed.

The introduction of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) has revolutionized chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) treatment. The knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of patients and their families play a significant role in treatment adherence and effectiveness. This study aimed to investigate the KAP of CML patients and their families regarding TKI therapy in China. ⋯ The positive correlations among knowledge, attitudes, and practices emphasize the need for comprehensive interventions. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of tailored education, addresses financial concerns, and provides emotional support for CML patients and caregivers in China, despite limitations such as convenience sampling and questionnaire design. Future research should evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions and long-term outcomes to further enhance the overall well-being of this population.
