This study aimed to investigate the status and the needs of personnel training in pharmacy intravenous admixture service (PIVAS) and provide a reference for the comprehensive training of pharmacists in PIVAS in China. A total of 21 pharmacists from PIVAS of West China Hospital, Sichuan University and West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University were selected by purposive sampling to conduct 3 rounds of focus group interviews, and the Colaizzi phenomenological method was used for qualitative analysis. ⋯ The needs of staff focus on career development, which was settled through improving comprehensive ability in training, especially scientific research ability, for solving problems in daily work and obtaining corresponding outputs. PIVAS personnel training should pay more attention to comprehensive quality and scientific research ability, and establish an individualized, refined, and specialized training system to meet the needs of talent development and improve the quality of pharmacy services.

Based on network pharmacology and molecular docking, this study seeks to investigate the mechanism of Taohong Siwu decoction (THSWD) in the treatment of avascular necrosis of the femoral head (AVNFH). The Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology database was used in this investigation to obtain the active ingredients and related targets for each pharmaceutical constituent in THSWD. To find disease-related targets, the terms "avascular necrosis of the femoral head," "necrosis of the femoral head," "steroid-induced necrosis of the femoral head," "osteonecrosis," and "avascular necrosis of the bone" were searched in the databases DisGeNET, GeneCards, Comparative Toxicogenomics Database, and MalaCards. ⋯ According to the findings of enrichment analysis, THSWD cured AVNFH by regulating angiogenesis, cellular hypoxia, inflammation, senescence, apoptosis, cytokines, and cellular proliferation through the aforementioned targets and signaling pathways. The primary component of THSWD exhibits a strong binding force with the key protein of AVNFH. This study sheds new light on the biological mechanism of THSWD in treating AVNFH by revealing the multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway features and molecular docking mechanism of THSWD.

Tooth development is regulated by numerous genes and signaling pathways. Some studies suggest that mutations in these genes may be associated with several cancer types. However, the tooth agenesis mutated genes role in the prognosis and their clinical therapeutic potentials in pan-cancer have not been elaborately explored. ⋯ Finally, AXIN2 expression has a significantly positive or negative correlation with drug sensitivity. Our study indicates the great potential of TA mutant genes as biomarkers for prognosis and provides valuable strategies for further investigation of TA mutant genes as potential therapeutic targets in cancers. Our study can further verify that there may be an intrinsic correlation between tooth agenesis and the occurrence of multiple cancers.

Glenohumeral internal rotation deficit in general population with shoulder pain: A descriptive observational study.
Glenohumeral internal rotation deficit (GIRD) is one of the most important factors influencing injury risk in the arm of overhead athletes. Some studies have shown that the GIRD of athletes with shoulder pain was higher than those without shoulder pain, establishing a relation between shoulder pain and GIRD. However, there are no studies that relate to GIRD and shoulder pain or the risk factors that affect GIRD in the population with this ailment. ⋯ The linear model considering both sociodemographic and orthopedic findings showed that GIRD was reduced by having children and by BMI. GIRD shows a high incidence in patients with shoulder pain. The descendant, BMI, and positive Jobe test were negatively associated with the GIRD.

Chondrosarcoma (CHS) is highly prone to recurrence and has become the most common malignant bone tumor in adults. The authors aim to identify and analyze the top 100 most-cited articles in this field, enabling researchers to quickly grasp the research focus and progress in the area of chondrosarcoma recurrence. ⋯ Research on CHS recurrence is citation-rich but focuses more on treatments than understanding mechanisms, indicating a need for deeper mechanistic exploration for treatment breakthroughs in the future.
