It is a crucial disease that descending necrotizing mediastinitis need to be treated promptly with proper antibiotics and drainage. The characteristics of its symptoms such as chest pain are difficult to distinguish from acute myocardial infarction. ⋯ Descending necrotizing mediastinitis made chest paint with elevated cardiac enzyme mimicked myocardial infarction.

The dysregulation of some solute carrier (SLC) proteins has been linked to a variety of diseases, including diabetes and chronic kidney disease. However, SLC-related genes (SLCs) has not been extensively studied in acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The GSE66360 and GSE60993 datasets, and SLCs geneset were enrolled in this study. ⋯ Five drugs targeting SLC2A3 were predicted as well. Lastly, the experimental results showed that the biomarkers expression trends were consistent with public database. In this study, 2 SLC-related biomarkers (SLC11A1 and SLC2A3) were screened and drug predictions were carried out to explore the prediction and treatment of AMI.

This study evaluated the clinical characteristics of multiple early gastric cancer (MEGC) and high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia (HGIN) treated by endoscopic submucosal dissection. The clinical profiles of 23 patients with MEGC treated by endoscopic submucosal dissection from January 2008 to June 2019 at the Fujian Provincial Hospital or Fujian Provincial Hospital South Branch were analyzed. The following information was extracted from clinical records: general data, preoperative conditions, and pathological data of each lesion after surgery. ⋯ Pathologic types tended to be low-grade malignancies. The macroscopic type, histology type, and infiltration depth of the 2 lesions were significantly correlated. When detecting early gastric cancer, we should inspect the stomach and carefully consider the pathological characteristics, to improve the diagnosis of MEGC.

Heart failure (HF) is the final stage of heart disease. An increasing number of experiments and clinical reports have shown that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has many therapeutic effects and advantages in treating HF. In this study, we used bioinformatics methods to screen key genes and predict the components of Chinese herbal medicines with preventive and therapeutic effects on HF. ⋯ Finally, a total of 70 TCM compounds and 30 active ingredients of TCM compounds were identified. Bioinformatics methods were applied to preliminarily predict the key genes and TCM compounds involved in HF. These results provide theoretical support for the treatment of HF with TCM compounds and provide targets and research strategies for the development of related new Chinese medicines.

Analyses of author collaborations and keyword co-occurrences are frequently used in bibliographic research. However, no studies have introduced a straightforward yet effective approach, such as utilizing ChatGPT with Code Interpreter (ChatGPT_CI) or the R language, for creating cluster-oriented networks. This research aims to compare cluster analysis methods in ChatGPT_CI and R, visualize country-specific author collaborations, and then demonstrate the most effective approach. ⋯ This research highlighted the efficient and effective methods for conducting cluster analyses of author collaborations using R. For future related studies, such as keyword co-occurrence analysis, R is recommended as a viable alternative for bibliographic research.
