Treatment failure in patients with liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC) is primarily caused by tumor progression and therapy resistance. Tumor immunity plays a crucial role in regulating the homeostasis of cells through the process of programmed cell death (PCD). However, the expression profile and clinical significance of PCD-related genes in LIHC require further investigation. ⋯ Additionally, PCDscore was correlated with immune checkpoint genes and immune cell infiltration. LIHC patients with high PCDscore exhibited sensitivity to common chemotherapy drugs (such as cisplatin and docetaxel). To summarize, our study developed a novel PCDscore model that comprehensively analyzed different cell death modes, providing an accurate prediction of clinical prognosis and drug sensitivity for LIHC patients.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mechanism of sanguinarine (SAN) against nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) by means of network pharmacology, molecular docking technique, and experimental verification. ⋯ SAN inhibits the proliferation and induces the apoptosis of NPC cells through the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway.

Case Reports
A case report of a patient with ductal carcinoma and a malignant phyllodes tumor in situ in 2 separate breasts.
Breast malignant phyllodes tumors (MPT) are quite uncommon. It is rarely reported that they occur in conjunction with breast cancer. We detailed a case in which an MPT and ductal carcinoma in situ carcinoma occurred simultaneously in 2 different breasts. ⋯ It is possible for MPT and ductal carcinoma in situ to occur simultaneously in different breasts. Surgeons need to integrate clinical observations, imaging tools, and patient history to make an early diagnosis. Before undergoing surgery, a thorough examination of both breasts is required.

Autogenous particulate dentin (APD) has been used as a bone graft material for bone augmentation, but the specifics of its effect on alveolar ridge preservation (ARP) are uncertain. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical and histomorphometric performance of APD compared with blood clot healing or other grafted materials in ARP. ⋯ Within this study limitations, APD effectively maintained the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the extraction sockets and exhibited favorable osteogenic properties and degradation capacity. Further well-designed randomized controlled trials with larger samples and longer follow-up periods are needed to evaluate whether APD is superior to other substitutes for ARP.

Review Meta Analysis
Efficacy and mechanism of nourishing yin and purging fire therapy for central precocious puberty based on meta-analysis and network pharmacology.
Central precocious puberty (CPP) is due to the early activation of the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis, and its incidence is on the rise. A number of studies have shown that nourishing yin and purging fire (NYPF) therapy can be beneficial for CPP. Therefore, we conducted this review to investigate the efficacy, safety, and mechanism of NYPF therapy for CPP. ⋯ This article revealed that NYPF therapy is effective and safe against CPP. The mechanism of the core herb pair of NYPF therapy for CPP through muti-components, muti-targets and muti-pathways.
