N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-related lncRNAs could be involved in the development of multiple tumors with an unknown role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). Hence, gene expression data and clinical data of LUAD patients were acquired from The Cancer Genome Atlas Database. The prognostic m6A-related lncRNAs were identified through differential lncRNA expression analysis and Spearman's correlation analysis. ⋯ The receiver operating characteristic curves indicated that this model had excellent sensitivity and specificity. Multivariate Cox regression analysis demonstrated that the risk score could be supposed as an independent prognostic risk factor. We highlighted that the risk scores were correlated with immune cell infiltration and drug sensitivity for constructing a prognostic risk model in LUAD patients based on m6A-related lncRNAs.

Endometriosis is associated with ovarian cancers, mainly endometrioid and clear-cell carcinomas. Iron metabolism has been shown to play a role in endometriosis. Therefore, it is vital to explore the relationship between iron metabolism and ovarian cancer and to identify novel markers for diagnostics and therapeutics. ⋯ Seven hub genes were identified by bioinformatic analysis, and 3 hub genes (NCOA4, ETFDH, and TYW1) were further selected by logistic regression, which were verified in an independent endometriosis dataset (GSE25628) and ovarian cancer dataset (GSE14407), showing good predictive diagnostic value (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.88 and 0.9, respectively). Gene Ontology, gene set enrichment analysis, and immune infiltration analysis further confirmed the related functions, pathways, and immune relationship between iron metabolism and ovarian cancer. This study highlights the potential of targeting iron metabolism in the prevention of potential ovarian cancer and in the further exploration of endometriosis and endometriosis-relevant ovarian cancer therapeutics.

YKT6, as a Soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptor (SNARE) protein with vesicle trafficking, plays an essential role in the development and progression of tumor. However, the gene of YKT6 has not been fully assessed in pan-cancer studies. We aim to investigate the gene of YKT6 across 33 different types of tumor by using the Cancer Genome Atlas, Gene Expression Omnibus database, and other several kinds of bioinformatic tools. ⋯ While a negative relationship was obtained between YKT6 expression and endothelial cell in KIRC. Moreover, "Syntaxin binding," "SNARE complex," "vesicle fusion" and "DNA replication" are involved in the influence of YKT6 on tumor pathogenesis. Our pan-cancer analysis offers a deep comprehending the gene of YKT6 in tumoeigenesis from viewpoint of clinical tumor samples.

Acupuncture treatment helps to improve neurological and motor function in elderly patients with stroke hemiplegia. However, the exact mechanism by which electroacupuncture improves stroke hemiparesis is uncertain. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of electroacupuncture care on sirt3 levels in elderly patients with stroke hemiparesis. ⋯ Electroacupuncture intervention led to significant improvements in motor function, activities of daily living and neurological function in elderly patients with stroke hemiplegia, which may be associate with increased serum sirt3 levels.

Pseudophakic pupillary block after reverse sulcus intraocular lens implantation: A case report.
Reverse sulcus intraocular lens (IOL) implantation can cause serious ophthalmic complications. Even routine ocular examinations can provoke significant consequences. Herein, we present a case of recurrent pupillary capture and pseudophakic pupillary block related to reverse sulcus IOL implantation. ⋯ When the reverse position of sulcus IOL is detected postoperatively, prophylactic laser peripheral iridotomy should be considered to prevent pupillary block particularly when pupillary capture is present. Pharmacologic pupillary dilation should be performed cautiously. Recurrent pupillary capture is possible and IOL repositioning should be considered to prevent further complications.
