Case Reports
Tubal ectopic twin pregnancy of complete hydatidiform mole and coexisting embryo: A rare case report.
Ectopic twin gestation involving a complete hydatidiform mole (CHM) and coexisting embryo is an exceedingly rare occurrence. ⋯ In the management of ectopic pregnancy involving CHM, it is crucial to enhance the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis. Additionally, histopathological examination of the salpingectomy specimen and conceptus is definitely essential for accurate diagnosis and appropriate follow-up management of tubal pregnancies.

The optimal surgical treatment for patients suffering from distractive flexion injury of the subaxial cervical spine with a locked facet (LF) is unknown. Closed reduction via an anterior or posterior approach is a treatment option for LF. We examined the surgical outcomes of patients treated for locked facet distractive flexion injury (LF-DFI) in this case series, with a particular emphasis on the surgical approach and reduction maneuver. ⋯ At the final follow-up, all patients achieved radiological fusion, and no complications other than neurologic deterioration were identified. In terms of worsening postoperative neurologic status, a posterior approach using partial facetectomy for LF reduction is considered a safer surgical technique than an anterior approach. To avoid iatrogenic intraoperative cord injury, we recommend posterior approach in patients with LF-DFI.

Although the cornerstone treatment for deep vein thrombosis (DVT) remains anticoagulation, clinicians perform stenting or angioplasty (SA) in particular patients. To assess the effects of SA in this setting, we performed a systematic review of randomized controlled trials. ⋯ SA results in little to no difference in PTS, VTE and mortality in acute DVT compared to BMP. The evidence regarding SA in chronic DVT and whether SA, compared to BMP and thrombolysis, decreases PTS and VTE in acute DVT is uncertain. Open Science Framework (osf.io/f2dm6).

Meta Analysis
Effectiveness of scapular mobilization in patients with primary adhesive capsulitis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of scapular mobilization on range of motion, shoulder disability, and pain intensity in patients with primary adhesive capsulitis (AC). ⋯ Scapular mobilization with or without other therapeutic interventions does not provide a significant clinical benefit regarding active shoulder range of motion, disability, or pain intensity in patients with primary AC, compared with other manual therapy techniques or other treatments; the quality of evidence was very low to moderate according to the grading of recommendation, assessment, development and evaluation approach.

Meta Analysis
Multiple surgical treatment comparisons for irreparable rotator cuff tears: A network meta-analysis.
To evaluate the effect of different surgical methods in the treatment of patients with irreparable rotator cuff tears (IRCTs) using a network meta-analysis. ⋯ Among the multiple surgical treatments for patients with IRCTs, LDT + partial repair may have the best effect, and more randomized controlled trials with larger sample sizes are needed for further verification.
