To investigate the effect of ganciclovir combined with interferon atomization inhalation on T lymphocyte subsets in patients with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection and its efficacy. Fifty patients with EBV infection who received ganciclovir combined with interferon atomization inhalation were selected as the observation group, and 50 healthy people were selected as the control group. The changes of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry before treatment and at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th cycle after treatment. ⋯ After the 4th cycle of treatment, CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ values were significantly improved (P < .05), and CD8+ index was significantly decreased (P < .05). Ganciclovir combined with interferon atomization inhalation can regulate the changes of T lymphocyte subsets in patients with EBV infection, improve the patient's condition, and has no obvious adverse reactions. Monitoring the changes of T lymphocyte subsets during treatment is more meaningful to predict the therapeutic effect of patients with EB virus infection.

Butylphthalide can improve blood circulation in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Complement 3a receptor 1 (C3aR1) is involved in the regulation of innate immune response and pathogen monitoring, which is closely related to the pathophysiological processes of breast cancer, neurogenesis and lipid catabolism. Our study explored the therapeutic effect of butylphthalide on improving the neurological function of patients with acute anterior circulation cerebral infarction after mechanical thrombectomy, and evaluated the correlation between serum C3aR1 and butylphthalide on improving the neurological function after mechanical thrombectomy. 288 patients with acute anterior circulation cerebral infarction who were admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to November 2022 and were treated with mechanical thrombectomy for the first time were included in this retrospective study and divided into the butylphthalide group and control group that they received treatment methods. ⋯ The serum C3aR1 was positively correlated with the efficacy of NIHSS (R = 0.815, P = .004), which was positively correlated with mRS score (R = 0.774, P = .007). Butylphthalide can improve the therapeutic effect of neurological function in patients with acute anterior circulation cerebral infarction after mechanical thrombus removal. The patient serum C3aR1 is related to the patient neurotherapy efficacy and neurological function status, and its level can reflect the patient neurological function recovery to a certain extent.

Uveitis is an eye disease with a high rate of blindness, whose pathogenesis is not completely understood. Si-Ni-San (SNS) has been used as a traditional medicine to treat uveitis in China. However, its mechanism of action remains unclear. This study explored the potential mechanisms of SNS in the treatment of uveitis through network pharmacology and bioinformatics. ⋯ Based on these findings, SNS exhibits multi-component and multi-target synergistic action in the treatment of uveitis, and its mechanism may be related to anti-inflammatory and immune regulation.

Pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) have been reported to be challenging hotspots in clinical practice. Previous observational studies have found that stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental and psychological diseases are closely associated with IBS. This study aimed to further explore the causal relationships of these associations through Mendelian randomization (MR). ⋯ This study demonstrates that mental and psychological factors are the underlying etiologies for IBS. These findings may provide important information for physicians regarding the clinical treatment of IBS.

Absent in melanoma 1-like (AIM1L), also known as crystalline beta gamma domain containing 2. The relationship between AIM1L and tumors has not been fully investigated, and the biological function of AIM1L in different tumors is unknown, so we bioinformatically explored a possible relationship between AIM1L and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). ⋯ AIM1L may be a candidate tumor suppressor gene for ESCC and an independent molecular biomarker for the prognosis of ESCC patients.
