In the present study, we analyzed the detection rate and related influencing factors of fatty liver in the health examination population in Chengdu area. ⋯ The health screening of patients with fatty liver should be carried out regularly, and attention should be paid to the intervention and prevention of overweight people and people with basal metabolism diseases such as hyperglycemia and hypertension, so as to reduce the incidence of fatty liver.

Fractures of the distal radius are a common fracture with an increasing incidence. However, the underlying factors for distal radius fractures (DRFs) remain unclear. A total of 123 patients with distal radial fractures were recruited. ⋯ In other words, the platelet content in the body of different genders is different, and the MTRR of DRF is different. Platelets were significantly associated with DRFs. The higher the platelet count, the higher the risk of DRF and the shorter the time of DRF recurrence.

To develop and evaluate an early rehabilitation nursing program for patients with pulmonary tuberculosis to improve their exercise endurance, pulmonary function, and self-care ability, promote their rehabilitation, improve their quality of life, and explore the construction and application of early rehabilitation nursing program. From March 2021 to August 2022, 104 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in the improvement stage were recruited and randomly assigned to an intervention group (n = 52) and a control group (n = 52). Exercise endurance was assessed before and 12 weeks after the nursing program, and the groups were compared. ⋯ After the intervention, the forced vital capacity and forced expiratory volume in 1 second in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < .001). After the intervention, the scores for health knowledge (P < .001), self-care skills (P = .001), self-concept (P < .001) and self-care responsibility (P = .002) of patients in the intervention group were significantly higher, and the self-rating depression scale, self-rating anxiety scale, and generic quality of life inventory-7 scores were significantly lower in the intervention group than in the control group (P < .001). This study demonstrates the clinical value of early rehabilitation nursing during the improvement period in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Intestinal obstruction caused by enteroliths is an uncommon medical condition. Timely detection of the presence of enteroliths and identification of their origin can guide clinical treatment. This study aimed to present the Computed Tomography (CT) features of enterolithic ileus confirmed by surgery in 7 patients. ⋯ Simultaneously, cholecystitis and secondary cholecystoduodenal fistula were observed in all 3 patients with gallstones. Compared to gallstones, primary enteroliths tend to be higher positioned, less dense, and accompanied by gas. CT examination is very important, as it allows accurate identification, location, diagnosis, and identification of complications of the different types of enteroliths to provide a basis for surgery.

Sclerostin and dickkopf-1 (DKK1), extracellular inhibitors of the canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, have been associated with vascular aging and atherosclerosis. This study aimed to assess the correlation of sclerostin and DKK1 concentrations with endothelial function measured using vascular reactivity index (VRI) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Fasting blood samples were collected from 100 patients with T2DM. ⋯ Multivariable forward stepwise linear regression analysis showed that DBP (β = 0.294, adjusted R2 change = 0.098, P < .001), log-glycated hemoglobin (β = -0.235, adjusted R2 change = 0.050, P = .002), log-urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (β = -0.342, adjusted R2 change = 0.227, P < .001), and log-sclerostin level (β = -0.327, adjusted R2 change = 0.101, P < .001) were independently associated with VRI. Serum sclerostin, along with glycated hemoglobin and albumin-to-creatinine ratio, exhibited a negative correlation with VRI, while DBP showed a positive correlation with VRI. These factors can independently predict endothelial dysfunction in patients with T2DM.
