To evaluate the diagnostic value of exfoliated tumor cells (ETCs) numbers combined with DNA methylation levels in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) in lung cancer. ⋯ ETCs counting in combination with SHOX2 and RASSF1A methylation assays in BALF samples has demonstrated excellent sensitivity for lung cancer diagnosis and is an effective complementary tool for clinical diagnosis of lung cancer.

Free flap reconstruction of scalp in a case of advanced lung cancer with brain metastasis: A case report.
Reconstruction of wound complications in patients with advanced cancer with distant metastases is challenging for plastic surgeons. This may be due to the cancer patients' hypercoagulability and potential intolerance to general anesthesia. This article aimed to discuss the risk of free-flap reconstruction in such cases. ⋯ Free flap placement is not an absolute contraindication in cancer patients with distant metastases. Nevertheless, it is associated with clinical challenges and operator hesitancy. This is a case of a successful free flap in a cancer patient with hypercoagulability and suspected floating tumor cells. Postoperative management, in this case, is appropriate.

Stroke patients may have dysphagia and frequent aspiration increasing exposure to antibiotics and the chance of multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria infection. This study investigated clinical risk factors and related antibiotic use of MDR bacteria infection in stroke patients in the rehabilitation ward, hoping that it can help prevent and reduce the condition of MDR bacteria. A retrospective cohort study was conducted using the database of stroke patients with pneumonia admitted to the rehabilitation ward from January 1, 2020, to June 30, 2022. ⋯ The detection rate of MDR bacteria has increased. Understanding the distribution and drug resistance of MDR bacteria in stroke patients with pneumonia in the neurological rehabilitation ward and the related susceptibility of MDR bacteria infection is necessary. This way, the treatment plan can be adjusted more timely, avoiding the abuse of antibiotics.

This study assessed the relationship between serum albumin levels and adult stroke risk. From the 2009 to 2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, we performed a cross-sectional study with 17,303 participants who were 40 years of age or higher. A multivariate logistic regression model investigated serum albumin levels and stroke. ⋯ An examination of subgroups revealed that the inverse relationship between serum albumin levels and risk of stroke was statistically significant in men, participants under 60 years old, non-diabetic participants, and hypertensive participants. Serum albumin levels and the risk of stroke were negatively correlated. An increased risk of stroke was linked to lower serum albumin levels.

Anger and aggression are common sources of distress and impairment. There is, however, no available data on anger and aggression based on bibliometric analysis. This study uses bibliometric analysis to analyze research hotspots and trends in anger and aggression. ⋯ Our analysis demonstrated that research on anger and aggression is flourishing. Behaviors of anger and aggression, risk factors, neural mechanisms, personality, and adolescence have been researched hotspots in the past ten years. Besides, victimization, drosophila melanogaster, psychopathic traits, and perpetration are emerging anger and aggression research trends.
