Long-term debridement effect of denervated large sacrococcygeal pressure injury: A case report.
Complicated pressure injury in paraplegic patients is common and difficult to manage. Previous case studies have documented short-term management; however, little is known regarding suitable approaches to long-term clearing of extensive pressure injury in the sacrococcygeal area under denervation. ⋯ This case study suggests that wound debridement is a cost-effective and clinically efficacious approach to long-term complicated pressure injury management.

Ischemic stroke refers to ischemic necrosis or softening of localized brain tissue. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a painless, noninvasive and green treatment method, which acts on the central nervous system through a pulsed magnetic field to assist in the treatment of central nervous system injury diseases. However, the role of Il1r2 and Tnfrsf12a in this is unknown. ⋯ Il1r2 and Tnfrsf12a were lowly expressed in TMS samples. CTD analysis found that the core gene (Socs3, Irf1 and Il1r2, Ccr1, Tnfrsf12a) and ischemic stroke, atherosclerosis, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thrombosis, stroke, myocardial ischemia, myocardial infarction, and inflammation. Il1r2 and Tnfrsf12a are highly expressed in ischemic stroke, but lowly expressed in TMS samples.

This study aimed to investigate the concordance rate between the 2022 American College of Rheumatology/European League Against Rheumatism (ACR/EULAR) criteria and the 1990 criteria for eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) in Chinese patients. 68 patients were diagnosed with EGPA according to the 1990 ACR criteria in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Beijing Chao-yang Hospital Department, from May 2005 to December 2022, and those patients were reclassified using the 2022 ACR/EULAR criteria for EGPA. Among the 68 patients, 88.2% (60 cases) met the 2022 ACR/EULAR criteria for EGPA, and 11.8% (8 cases) patients failed to meet the new criteria. Only 66.2% of the patients were detected blood eosinophil count ≥ 1 × 109/L, while more patients (77.9%) met the item blood eosinophil count > 10% in the 1990 criteria. ⋯ The concordance rate between the 2022 ACR/EULAR criteria and the 1990 criteria for EGPA was 88.2%. Compared with the 1990 criteria, the 2022 ACR/EULAR put more weighting on the blood eosinophil count and nasal polyps, while the diagnostic rate of them is low in Chinese patients. Thus improving the positive rate is important and routinely screening for nasal polyps should be performed in the future.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is often seen as a pulmonary complication of extreme preterm birth, resulting in persistent respiratory symptoms and diminished lung function. Unfortunately, current diagnostic and treatment options for this condition are insufficient. Hence, this study aimed to identify potential biomarkers in the peripheral blood of neonates affected by BPD. ⋯ Moreover, we predicted flunisolide, budesonide, and beclomethasone as potential anti-BPD drugs. The genes CYYR1, GALNT14, and OLAH have the potential to serve as diagnostic biomarkers for BPD. This may prove beneficial in clinical diagnosis and prevention of BPD.

The gut microbiota and its stability have important relationships with immunity. However, bibliometric analysis in this field is underdeveloped. This study aims to visualize publications related to the gut microbiota and immunity to identify research frontiers and hotspots, providing references and guidance for further research. ⋯ This study used bibliometric and visualization analysis to identify the development trends and hotspots of publications related to the gut microbiota and immunity. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the emerging trends and future directions in this field.
