Acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL) is a rare subtype of acute myelogenous leukaemia. With advances in treatment regimens, namely, introduction of all-trans-retinoicacid, outcomes have drastically improved, its side effects should not be ignored. Mycosis fungoides is one of the side effects of all-trans-retinoicacid treatment, but it may also be a clinical manifestation before disease progression. However, it rarely appears and is easily overlooked. This leads to being easily misled during the treatment process, affecting the treatment plan, and resulting in adverse consequences. Therefore, early identification and judgment can not only provide appropriate treatment options, but also prevent and treat further disease progression. ⋯ Acute promyelocytic leukemia needs to be treated with arsenic trioxide. All-trans-retinoicacid in the treatment of APL must be given attention mycosis fungoides. Early diagnosis can guide accurate treatment, which is of great help in alleviating the pain of patients and improving the cure rate.

Leading scientists worldwide are recognized by their placement in the top 2% based on their career-spanning contributions, as categorized by the Science-Metrix classification. However, there has been little focus on the unique scientific fields and subfields that separate countries. Although the KIDMAP in the Rasch model has been utilized to depict student performance, its application in identifying distinctive academic areas remains unexplored. Our study uses this model to pinpoint unique research domains specific to countries based on the top 2% author data. ⋯ Despite trailing the US in global research achievements, China showcased pronounced expertise in specific scientific areas, such as the "Complementary & Alternative Medicine" subfield in 2022, when compared to China other subfields based on the level of academic performance (-3.09 logits). Future research could benefit from incorporating KIDMAP visuals to gauge other countries' strengths in various research sectors, expanding beyond the China-centric focus in this study.

It has a long history of preventing and treating disease using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In recent years, it has been widely used in adjuvant therapies of in vitro fertilization - embryo transfer (IVF-ET) in China. To observe the effect and safety of Shoutai Wan on pregnancy outcomes after IVF-ET. ⋯ The results of this retrospective cohort study revealed that Shoutaiwan combined with luteal support treatment can significantly decreased the miscarriage rate in pregnancy undergoing IVF-FET compared to the group accepted only luteal support treatment (P = .001). Meanwhile, St during pregnancy did not affect fetal birth weight (P = .354), and there was no adverse event in the St group reported, which confirmed the safety of TCM for fetus protection during pregnancy. This study not only provides evidences for the clinical administration of Shoutai Wan in IVF-ET, but also provides a novel direction for basic research into the subsequent innovative application of TCM.

Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a major cause of death and disability worldwide. The benefits of electrical stimulation in the treatment of respiratory dysfunction in patients on mechanical ventilation is unknown. Nevertheless, there is a dearth of evidence-based medical research concerning its clinical efficacy. ⋯ The findings of this research indicate that DESs have a positive impact on enhancing the rate of successful weaning and reducing the incidence of VAP. It decreases the duration of invasive ventilation and total ventilation time while also improving the mortality rate within 30 days. This therapy could offer a fresh alternative for respiratory impairment in patients undergoing mechanical ventilation.
