Therapeutic effectiveness analysis of tenofovir alafenamide and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate on the treatment for chronic hepatitis B.
To explore the therapeutic effectiveness of tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) on the treatment for chronic hepatitis B (CHB). Retrospectively analyzing 241 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021, they were divided into a TAF group of 180 cases and a TDF group of 61 cases. The liver function, serum virus markers, clinical efficacy, adverse reactions and cost-effectiveness ratio (CER) analysis of 2 groups were compared. ⋯ TAF or TDF therapy can both improve liver function and promote recovery in patients with CHB, achieving the goal of treatment. TAF have more cost but have similar CER to TDF. Moreover, TAF therapy has a higher safety profile.

Camrelizumab, donafenib, and transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) are recommended for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but their combined efficacy remains unclear. From July 2021 to January 2023, 20 Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C HCC patients were prospectively enrolled. Inclusion criteria were Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0 or 1, Child-Pugh Score ≤ 7, and Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer B or C. ⋯ Disease control rate was 90%. Median progression-free survival and overall survival were 9 and 14 months, respectively. TACE, camrelizumab, and donafenib combination therapy in Chinese advanced HCC patients show effectiveness in extending survival with low severe AEs incidence.

Change of hand sensation and function in patients with malignant lymphoma during early-stage vincristine chemotherapy: A single-center observational study.
This study aimed to investigate changes in hand sensation (finger tactile threshold and two-point discrimination) and function in patients with malignant lymphoma, particularly during the early stages of chemotherapy with vincristine. Eighteen patients with malignant lymphoma were enrolled in this study. Data on the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events Version 4.0, the visual analog scale for hand numbness, the Semmes Weinstein monofilament test, static and moving two-point discrimination (2PD), grip strength, pinch strength, and the Purdue Pegboard test were collected at 3 time points: before the start of chemotherapy (T0), after the first cycle of chemotherapy (T1), and after the second cycle of chemotherapy (T2). ⋯ Right-hand grip strength, pinch strength of both hands, and Purdue Pegboard test showed no significant deterioration. Chemotherapy with vincristine may affect hand sensation and function in patients with malignant lymphoma by exacerbating finger 2PD and hand numbness. Additionally, during the early stages of vincristine chemotherapy, it is important to monitor for a decrease in grip strength specifically in the left hand.

To explore the therapeutic mechanism of Mori Cortex against osteosarcoma (OS), we conducted bioinformatics prediction followed by in vitro experimental validation. ⋯ Mori Cortex may exert its therapeutic effects on OS through multiple cellular signaling pathways. Morusin, the active component of Mori Cortex, can inhibit cell cycle regulation and promote cell death in OS cells by targeting AKT/ERK pathway.

Application of intensive management of risk awareness combined with cardiac rehabilitation nursing in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure.
The aim of this study is to assess the impact of intensive risk awareness management along with cardiac rehabilitation nursing in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure. We selected 101 elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart aging treated from January 2022 to March 2023. They were divided into control and observation groups based on hospitalization numbers. ⋯ The total incidence of adverse events was lower in the observation group (5.88%) compared to the control group (20.00%) (P < .05). Patient satisfaction was significantly higher in the observation group (96.08%) than in the control group (84.00%) (P < .05). Intensive risk awareness management combined with cardiac rehabilitation nursing in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart aging can enhance medication compliance, improve quality-of-life, enhance self-care abilities, boost cardiac function, reduce incidents, and increase patient satisfaction.
