Spinal cord infarction is an uncommon nervous system disorder. We present a case of high cervical cord infarction caused by stenting of the origin of the left vertebral artery (VA). The incidence of spinal cord infarction is minimal, and it must be distinguished from a number of other disorders. The diagnosis is primarily based on imaging, clinical symptoms, and history. Currently, there is no focused treatment for spinal cord infarction. Thrombolysis, high-dose glucocorticoid shocks, tube dilatation to promote circulation, and nutritional neurotropic medicines given early in the course of the disease can all help to slow the disease's progression. There is no agreement on the etiology, diagnosis, or therapy options for these people. ⋯ High awareness for high cervical cord infarction is required when neck discomfort and limb weakness with progressive progression arises after surgery. Complications of high cervical cord infarction following stenting for stenosis of VA origin are uncommon in clinical settings. Patients' prognoses can be improved by prompt diagnosis and care.

Researchers in Saudi Arabia conducted this study to determine the level of familiarity that pharmacists and physicians possess with the pregnancy and lactation labeling rules established by the Food and Drug Administration. The present study included a cross-sectional survey conducted among pharmacists and physicians working in Saudi Arabia. The sample size was determined using the Rao sample size calculator. ⋯ The study revealed that pharmacists and physicians exhibited good knowledge of the old rule but a low level of knowledge regarding the new rule. Despite significant flaws in the old system, most preferred it. Enhancing knowledge in this area is crucial for improving risk communication and the quality of care for women of reproductive age.

Due to the lengthy and challenging nature of traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation, patients and carers increasingly rely on YouTube for information. However, no previous research has assessed the quality and reliability of these TBI rehabilitation videos on this platform. This study aims to assess the quality and reliability of YouTube videos on TBI rehabilitation. ⋯ The study revealed that videos uploaded by healthcare professionals have higher quality. For obtaining reliable information on TBI rehabilitation, it is also advisable to prioritize videos with longer durations and earlier upload dates. Given the significant role of social media platforms in educational outreach for rehabilitation, it is crucial to enhance the quality of these videos through appropriate measures.

Magnetic resonance imaging evaluation of gynecological mass lesions: A comprehensive analysis with histopathological correlation.
Evaluating gynecological mass lesions and reviewing their morphological characteristics based on their imaging appearance on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and correlating the MRI findings with histopathological findings, was the central theme of our study. This observational cross-sectional study was conducted on 60 female patients with clinically suspected gynecological mass lesions upon physical examination and/or ultrasonography, referred for MRI at a tertiary care hospital over a 1-year period between June 2022 and July 2023. A broad spectrum of differential diagnoses of gynecological masses was observed. ⋯ For determining parametrial invasion in cervical carcinoma, MRI showed an accuracy of 91%, specificity of 100%, and positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and sensitivity of 100%, 75%, and 88%, respectively. In cases of endometrial carcinoma, MRI demonstrated a sensitivity and specificity of 87% and 91%, respectively, with a positive predictive value of 87% and a negative predictive value of 91% for identifying myometrial invasion greater than 50%. Compared to other modalities, MRI provided substantial information regarding uterine and adnexal masses and surrounding structures, facilitating accurate staging of lesions.

Depression scores and its relationship with sexual quality of life in women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes: A cross-sectional study.
Diabetes is an important public health problem with increasing prevalence worldwide. However, the prevalence of diabetes in women is increasing. Women with diabetes have many physical and psychological complications. ⋯ When T1D and T2D were compared, T2D had worse SQoL and higher depression scores. It also revealed that age, BMI, T2D, and depression scores affected SQoL. Healthcare professionals especially nurses should provide education and counseling to women with T1D and T2D about sexual life and mental health.
