Case Reports
Combined dislocation of the trapezoid and finger carpometacarpal joints-the steering wheel injury: case report.
Two cases of combined dorsal trapezoid dislocation and multiple finger carpometacarpal joint dislocations are described. In both cases, a common mechanism involved a head-on motor vehicle collision while the subjects held tightly to the steering wheel. The patients were treated with open reduction and pinning, with good short-term results.

In Oberlin's nerve transfer, a fascicle of the ulnar nerve is sutured end-to-end to the branch of musculocutaneous nerve to the biceps muscle in the arm. This transfer is commonly used in adult traumatic C5-C6 avulsion injuries of the brachial plexus. We report the successful use of Oberlin nerve transfer in an ulnar ray-deficient infant with brachial plexus birth palsy.

Comparative Study
A comparison of intercostal and partial ulnar nerve transfers in restoring elbow flexion following upper brachial plexus injury (C5-C6+/-C7).
Restoring active elbow flexion is essential in the surgical management of C5-C6 +/- C7 brachial plexus palsies. This study compares the clinical results of 2 techniques to restore elbow flexion: the partial ulnar nerve transfer and the intercostal nerve transfer. ⋯ Therapeutic III.
