A retrospective cohort analysis. ⋯ BAs prevented the development of de novo cervical spine lesions in patients with RA, but failed to inhibit progression of pre-existing RA lesions.
-
Retrospective cohort study. ⋯ Clinical outcomes of cervical arthroplasty in multilevel spondylosis are similar to single-level outcomes. However, the significantly higher rate of HO found in multilevel arthroplasty and its long-term effect warrant further investigation.
-
A retrospective study. ⋯ As applied in anterior cervical fusion, the local decompression bone embedded into carbon fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone cages is enough and can achieve successful fusion, poignant clinical outcomes while achieving no donor site morbidity.
-
Retrospective cost-effectiveness analysis. ⋯ This cost-effectiveness analysis reports favorable results for ACDF procedures utilizing a tantalum implant. The data reported suggest that using porous tantalum as a stand-alone device is less costly and more effective than autograft and plate in ACDF procedures.

Retrospective study. ⋯ Si-CaP is an alternative to autogenous bone graft in spinal arthrodesis procedures. At 12-month follow-up, we detected high levels of bony fusion using Si-CaP in combination with various surgical spinal techniques.
