Numerical in-silico human spine stability finite element analysis. ⋯ This investigation demonstrated torso tissues exhibiting different roles toward static spine stability. The TLF appeared able to dissipate and absorb excessive loads, the muscles acted as antagonistic to external perturbations, and the IAP played a role limiting movement. Furthermore, the different combinations explored suggested an optimized engagement and coordination between different tissues to achieve a specific task, while minimizing individual work.Level of Evidence: N/A.

A retrospective cohort study. ⋯ The ensemble classifiers successfully predict the prolonged ICU-stay and the prolonged hospital-stay, which showed a high potential of assisting physicians in managing SCI patients in ICU and make full use of medical resources.Level of Evidence: 3.

This was a retrospective study about sacral giant cell tumor of bone (GCTB). ⋯ Ultra-short course of neo-adjuvant denosumab for sacral GCTB could elicit radiological and histological responses as conventional course did. The less degree of fibrosis and ossification might facilitate nerve-sparing surgery and help to achieve satisfactory local control and functional status.Level of Evidence: 4.

Retrospective study of data collected prospectively. ⋯ The degree of improvement in symptoms 6 hours after SNRB can predict the degree of improvement in LLRP at 12 months after surgery. However, symptomatic improvement after SNRB does not predict postoperative functional outcome or quality of life.Level of Evidence: 4.
