-
Retrospective cohort study. ⋯ This study suggested that a wide C3/4 flexion angle and high C3/4 or C4/5 spinal instability were closely associated with the etiology of proximal-type CSA.

Morphologic Change of Cortico-Cancellous Allograft used for Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion.
Retrospective cohort study. ⋯ Corticocancellous allograft demonstrated a high rate of graft morphologic change (54.3%). Graft resorption or fracture was associated with increased pseudarthrosis, subsidence, and decreased postoperative segmental lordosis; however, the clinical results were not significantly affected. Caution is needed when choosing to use corticocancellous allografts for ACDF due to the high rate of graft resorption or fracture and the negative implications of these risks.

Experimental study. ⋯ The new 3D-printed PSO guide plate system can be used for preoperative osteotomy planning and demonstrates good accuracy. The results can be used to develop 3D-printed plans for PSO in clinical practice.

Retrospective study of 150 IVDs. ⋯ Inherent differences exist in signal intensities of normal NP and IAF on T2-weighted MR images. Accentuating these differences using image postprocessing techniques can render these 2 structures visible.
