Multicenter Study Observational Study
A Diagnostic Biomarker for Cervical Myelopathy Based on Dynamic MRI.
Multicenter prospective observational study. ⋯ Significant increases in ADC values between the control and pathologic segments were found for both groups in neck extension only. This may serve as a diagnostic tool to identify early changes in the spinal cord related to myelopathy to indicate potentially reversible spinal cord injury and support the indication for surgery in select circumstances.

A prospective multicenter study. ⋯ JOA, JOACMEQ, and VAS scores were not significantly different between those with, and without, loss of cervical lordosis. Preoperative small eROM and large OPLL may represent factors associated with loss of cervical lordosis after laminoplasty in patients with OPLL.

Cross-sectional; observational. ⋯ NaF-PET/CT detects decreased vertebral bone turnover with aging, particularly in females. Measured NaF uptake increased with PET acquisition time after tracer injection, which must be considered in follow-up studies monitoring disease development and treatment effects.
-
Retrospective study. ⋯ Both NSAID and COX-2 inhibitor use in the early post-surgical period may be associated with increased rates of pseudarthrosis, hardware failure, and revision surgery in patients undergoing posterior spinal instrumentation and fusion.
