A retrospective cohort study. ⋯ The recurrence-prediction models for PVO created only using the initial risk factors showed low sensitivity, regardless of statistical method. However, ANN models using time-series data of CRP values and their ensemble model showed considerably increased prediction power. Therefore, clinicians treating PVO patients should pay attention to the treatment response including changes of CRP levels to identify high-risk patients for recurrence, and further studies to develop recurrence-prediction model for PVO should focus on the treatment response rather than initial risk factors.Level of Evidence: 4.

Retrospective cohort study. ⋯ We summarized the medical costs and cost-effectiveness of three different surgical methods for ASD in patients with different backgrounds over 2 years postoperatively. The medical expense for the initial surgery was highest in the LLIF group, and the cumulative improvement in QALY over the 2 years tended to be higher in the LLIF group, but the difference was not significant; the overall cost-effectiveness was lowest in the LLIF group.Level of Evidence: 3.

Retrospective observational study of a cohort of consecutive patients. ⋯ This next-generation minimally invasive anterior and posterior combined surgery was found to be a safe and useful procedure for OVF treatment to reduce correction loss, mechanical complication, and AVF, resulting in less postoperative low back pain.Level of Evidence: 3.

A systematic review. ⋯ Currently, physical functioning is evaluated with a variety of measures in AIS. The majority of measurement properties studies evaluated PROM with a paucity of information on measurement properties of PBOM and body structure and function OM. Based on COSMIN methodology, none of the OM identified in this review can be recommended with confidence in individuals with AIS.Level of Evidence: 2.
