Comment ReviewGuillain-Barre syndrome associated to COVID-19 infection: a review of published case reports.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic is a major worldwide health disorder. There is an increasing number of neurological complications recognized with COVID-19 including patients with GBS and its variants. ⋯ GBS in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection resembles clinically and electrophysiology the classical forms. Further studies are necessary to understand whether GBS frequency is actually increased due to SARS-CoV-2 infection and explore pathogenic mechanisms.

Guideline[Recommendations on neurophysiological studies during the COVID-19 pandemic].
At the end of January, the current outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus disease was declared an important international public health emergency. In Spain, since the government declared the state of alarm on 14 March 2020, doctors responsible for carrying out neurophysiological tests have been performing them without any consensus criterion or clear safety guidelines for doctors, technicians or patients. ⋯ These recommendations concern the constitution of a priority based on the reason for consultation, the establishment of calls to check the patient's clinical situation before going to the outpatient department and the rules for carrying out neurophysiological tests, which are generally based on the preservation of hospital circuits, respect for and observation of the known barriers to contagion of this disease, and the use of disposable material. These recommendations are of particular interest, especially given the uncertainty of not knowing the evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 infection in the coming weeks or months.

Observational StudyThe impact of COVID-19 on children with autism spectrum disorder.
Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often experience changing routines as a major challenge. For that reason, the need for adaptation during COVID-19 pandemic may have brought major problems to families with children with this pathology. ⋯ Our results show a potential important psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic not only in children with neurodevelopmental disorders but in their caregivers as well. Physicians must be prepared for the post-pandemic surveillance of mental disorders among families.
