Soft tissue perineuriomas are an unusual type of peripheral nerve sheath tumors distinct from schwannomas and neurofibromas, with interesting histologic findings. They are not well characterized on radiographic examination. We report this case of a patient with sinonasal perineurioma to help define the imaging and pathologic features of this rare head and neck tumor.

Do apparent diffusion coefficient measurements predict outcome in children with neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy?
Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) permits early detection and quantification of hypoxic-ischemic (HI) brain lesions. Our aim was to assess the predictive value of DWI and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) measurements for outcome in children with perinatal asphyxia. ⋯ ADC values in normal-appearing basal ganglia and brain stem correlated with outcome, independently of all MR imaging findings including those of DWI. ADC values in visibly abnormal brain tissue on DWI did not show a predictive value for outcome.

Fate of manuscripts previously rejected by the American Journal of Neuroradiology: a follow-up analysis.
This is a follow-up article to "Fate of Submitted Manuscripts Rejected from the American Journal of Neuroradiology: Outcomes and Commentary." The purpose of this study was to quantify differences in citation frequency between manuscripts published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology (AJNR) and those published after AJNR rejection and to understand citation frequency differences among rejected manuscripts. ⋯ Results from this study suggest that publications initially rejected from AJNR have a significantly lower citation frequency than those accepted by AJNR. Among rejected manuscripts, citations frequencies were highest in technical reports and among journals close to the neuroradiologic discipline.
