Meta AnalysisEndovascular Treatment of Ruptured Intracranial Blister Aneurysms: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
Endovascular treatment of blister aneurysms is a promising approach, even though they are vascular lesions challenging to treat due to their angioarchitectural characteristics. ⋯ This study suggests that endovascular treatment of blister aneurysms is associated with good long-term occlusion rates and reasonable complication and mortality rates. There is no consensus on the best endovascular techniques in blister aneurysm management.

Multicenter StudyMRI Features May Predict Molecular Features of Glioblastoma in Isocitrate Dehydrogenase Wild-Type Lower-Grade Gliomas.
Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) wild-type lower-grade gliomas (histologic grades II and III) with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) amplification or telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) promoter mutation are reported to behave similar to glioblastoma. We aimed to evaluate whether MR imaging features could identify a subset of IDH wild-type lower-grade gliomas that carry molecular features of glioblastoma. ⋯ MR imaging features integrated with machine learning classifiers may predict a subset of IDH wild-type lower-grade gliomas that carry molecular features of glioblastoma.

Multicenter Study Observational StudyPeriprocedural Safety and Feasibility of the New LVIS EVO Device for Stent-Assisted Coiling of Intracranial Aneurysms: An Observational Multicenter Study.
Stent-assisted treatment techniques can be an effective treatment option for intracranial aneurysms. The aim of this study was to evaluate the periprocedural feasibility and safety of the new LVIS EVO stent for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. ⋯ The LVIS EVO stent is a safe, feasible device for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.

National Trends in Lumbar Puncture from 2010 to 2018: A Shift Reversal from the Emergency Department to the Hospital Setting for Radiologists and Advanced Practice Providers.
Prior research has shown substantial shifts in procedure shares between specialty groups providing lumbar punctures. Our aim was to analyze national trends in lumbar punctures among the Medicare population from 2010 to 2018. ⋯ During the past decade, lumbar puncture procedures among the Medicare population have remained stable, with a shift in procedure volume from the emergency department and private offices to the hospital setting, which has mainly affected radiologists and advanced practice providers.

Noninvasive Determination of IDH and 1p19q Status of Lower-grade Gliomas Using MRI Radiomics: A Systematic Review.
Determination of isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) status and, if IDH-mutant, assessing 1p19q codeletion are an important component of diagnosis of World Health Organization grades II/III or lower-grade gliomas. This has led to research into noninvasively correlating imaging features ("radiomics") with genetic status. ⋯ Radiogenomics is a potential alternative to standard invasive biopsy techniques for determination of IDH and 1p19q status in lower-grade gliomas but requires translational research for clinical uptake.
