Superselective vesical artery embolization in the management of intractable hematuria secondary to hemorrhagic cystitis.
To evaluate the efficacy and outcome of superselective vesical arterial embolization in the management of severe intractable hematuria secondary to hemorrhagic cystitis. ⋯ Superselective vesical artery embolization is a safe and effective procedure in controlling intractable life-threatening hematuria in a select group of patients who have failed conventional treatment protocols. This procedure may be considered as the treatment of choice since it usually obviates the need for emergency surgery in these severely ill patients.

Can contrast-enhanced ultrasound and acoustic radiation force impulse imaging characterize CT-indeterminate renal masses? A prospective evaluation with histological confirmation.
To prospectively characterize computed tomography (CT)-indeterminate renal masses (CTIRM) using acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) elastography and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and to correlate quantitative imaging findings with histopathology or interim follow-up (FU). ⋯ Quantitative CEUS and ARFI imaging can provide relevant information to further characterize CT-indeterminate renal masses to guide urological decision making and offer the possibility of differentiation between ccRCC from less malignant RCC subtypes and from oncocytoma.

68Ga-labelled PSMA ligand HBED-CC PET/CT imaging in patients with recurrent prostate cancer.
68Ga-PSMA Positron Emission Tomography/Computerized Tomography (PET/CT) has shown promising results for the detection of recurrent prostate cancer (RPCa). However, the diagnostic value of this method is yet to be validated. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of clinical and biochemical variables on the detection rate of 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT in patients with RPCa. ⋯ 68Ga-PSMA-PET/CT is useful for re-staging patients with RPCa and has improved performance compared with CI for disease detection. Detection rates are improved in patients on ADT and with short PSAdt.

Comparative StudyComparison of multiparametric and biparametric MRI of the prostate: are gadolinium-based contrast agents needed for routine examinations?
To investigate, if and how omitting gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCA) and dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging (DCE) influences diagnostic accuracy and tumor detection rates of prostate MRI. ⋯ Omitting DCE did not lead to significant differences in diagnostic accuracy or tumor detection rates when using the PI-RADS 2 scoring system. According to these data, it seems reasonable to use a biparametric approach for initial routine prostate MRI. This could decrease examination time and reduce costs without significantly lowering the diagnostic accuracy.

Development of novel prognostic models for predicting complications of urethroplasty.
To identify predictors of thirty-day perioperative complications after urethroplasty and create a model to predict patients at increased risk. ⋯ Our predictive models of complications perform well and may allow for improved preoperative counseling and risk stratification in the surgical management of urethral stricture.
