To retrospectively assess treatment outcome of image and laparoscopic guided interstitial pulsed dose rate brachytherapy (PDR-BT) for locally advanced gynaecological cancer using the adaptive GEC ESTRO target concept. ⋯ Image and laparoscopic guided interstitial PDR-BT using the GEC ESTRO target concept is applicable for locally advanced primary vaginal or recurrent endometrial and cervical cancer resulting in an excellent local control rate and limited morbidity.

To compare 12-year outcomes of accelerated partial breast irradiation (APBI) versus whole-breast irradiation (WBI) in patients treated with breast conservation. ⋯ With 12-year follow-up, APBI produced outcomes equivalent to WBI. Following LR, patients treated with APBI also had similar failure patterns to those managed with WBI.

To compare the coronary angiographic findings between patients who had previous left sided versus right sided breast cancer radiotherapy (RT). ⋯ In our patients, left sided breast cancer RT did not increase the risk of coronary artery disease within the first few years, when compared to right sided RT. However, with the limitation of short duration between radiotherapy and coronary angiogram, late development of coronary artery stenoses 10-15 years after left sided RT could not be excluded.

To fit an NTCP model including clinical risk factors to late rectal toxicities after radiotherapy for prostate cancer. ⋯ The inclusion of predisposing clinical factors improves NTCP estimation; the assessment of other clinical and genetic factors will be useful to reduce parameter uncertainties.
