To investigate a novel Hadamard-encoded spectral editing scheme and evaluate its performance in simultaneously quantifying N-acetyl aspartate (NAA) and N-acetyl aspartyl glutamate (NAAG) at 3 Tesla. ⋯ The simultaneous and separable detection of two otherwise overlapping metabolites using HERMES is possible at 3T. The primary purpose of this study is to propose a method for the simultaneous quantitative three-dimensional (3D) mapping of conductivity and susceptibility using double-echo ultrashort echo time (UTE) imaging. The secondary purpose is to investigate the changes of these properties over time during in vitro hematoma evolution in blood samples. ⋯ The proposed method can be useful for determining EM property changes (including those during hemorrhage) and providing additional information about the state of the blood. In this study, we proposed an efficient free-breathing strategy for rapid and improved cardiac diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) acquisition using a single-shot spin-echo echo planar imaging (SE-EPI) sequence. ⋯ The slice-following DWI SE-EPI sequence is a promising solution for clinical implementation, offering a robust improved workflow for further evaluation of DWI in cardiology. To reconstruct proton resonance frequency-shift temperature maps free of chemical shift distortions. ⋯ Heat-induced proton resonance frequency changes create chemical shift distortions in temperature maps resulting from MR-guided focused ultrasound surgery ablations, but the distortions can be corrected using an online-compatible algorithm. We present a volumetric sampling method that rotates the spiral interleaves of a stack of spirals (SOSP) trajectory for reduced aliasing artifacts using parallel imaging with undersampling. ⋯ The proposed rotated SOSP sampling method is a highly efficient way to maximize the encoding power of volumetric receiver arrays in parallel imaging and is applicable to rapid volumetric scanning, including susceptibility-weighted imaging and functional MRI.
