Arthroscopy : the journal of arthroscopic & related surgery : official publication of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the International Arthroscopy Association
-
To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in the literature to ascertain the extent to which platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) improved patient outcomes in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. ⋯ II; systematic review and meta-analysis of level I and II evidence.
-
To report the rates of achieving clinically significant outcomes as defined by the minimal clinically important difference (MCID), patient acceptable symptomatic state (PASS), or substantial clinical benefit (SCB) in adolescent patients and the rates of clinical failure 5 years after undergoing hip arthroscopy for femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS). ⋯ IV, Retrospective Case Series.
-
To evaluate the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with hyaluronic acid (HA) injections versus HA injections alone for the management of knee osteoarthritis (OA). ⋯ III (meta-analysis of randomized and non-randomized comparative trials).
-
To analyze the contribution of a secondary anterolateral structure (ALS) deficiency to knee instability based on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) deficiency, in the condition of a functional iliotibial band (ITB). ⋯ In the condition of functional ITB, concomitant ALS injury might not exacerbate anterior and pivot-shift instability after ACL rupture, while affecting isolated internal rotation stability at higher flexion.

Multicenter Study Observational Study
Opioid Consumption After Knee Arthroscopy.
To prospectively observe opioid consumption in patients undergoing knee arthroscopy and to create an evidence-based guideline for opioid prescription. ⋯ II, prospective prognostic cohort investigation.
