To analyze the reliability and validity of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the detection of anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) injuries in chronic lateral ankle instability by comparing its findings with arthroscopic findings. ⋯ Level III, diagnostic study of nonconsecutive patients (without consistently applied reference gold standard).
-
To evaluate a short, hip-oriented outcome instrument, based on the Core Outcome Measures Index (COMI), in patients undergoing surgery for femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). ⋯ Level II, development of diagnostic criteria based on consecutive patients (with universally applied reference gold standard).

Causes and Predictors of 30-Day Readmission After Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopy: An Analysis of 15,167 Cases.
To evaluate the incidence, causes, and risk factors for unplanned 30-day readmission after shoulder and knee arthroscopy. ⋯ Level III, prognostic study.
-
To evaluate the results of arthroscopic capsulolabral repair for the treatment of posterior shoulder instability in a throwing athlete cohort when compared with non-throwers. ⋯ Level III, retrospective comparative study.

The purpose of this study was to determine the donor zone of most congruent topographic match by comparing 4 donor sites from the femur with 4 potential recipient sites of osteochondritis dissecans at the capitellum. ⋯ These data suggest that a single donor plug may be obtained from multiple sites in the knee and placed into capitellar lesions with an excellent topographic articular surface match. The findings of our study will be useful to surgeons when managing capitellar osteochondritis dissecans lesions.
