Review Comparative Study
Improved outcomes with combined autologous chondrocyte implantation and patellofemoral osteotomy versus isolated autologous chondrocyte implantation.
To compare clinical outcomes of patients undergoing isolated patellofemoral autologous chondrocyte implantation (ACI) and ACI combined with patellofemoral realignment. ⋯ Level IV, systematic review of studies with minimum Level IV evidence, retrospective case series.
-
The purposes were to determine the bone density at specific bone tunnel locations in the clavicle and to determine ultimate load to failure of a graft fixed with an interference screw at specific areas. ⋯ Failure at the lateral bone tunnel in coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction may be a result of poor bone quality. When one is drilling bone tunnels for this surgery, consideration should be given to both anatomic position and bone quality.

To determine the prevalence of complications and reoperations during and after hip arthroscopy. ⋯ Level IV, a systematic review of Level I to IV studies.
-
The purpose of this study was to examine the surgical outcomes of 29 active patients (30 shoulders) with end-stage, symptomatic glenohumeral arthritis undergoing the comprehensive arthroscopic management (CAM) procedure. ⋯ Level IV, therapeutic case series.
-
The purpose of this study was to assess the incidence of heterotopic ossification (HO) after hip arthroscopy. ⋯ Level IV, therapeutic case series.
