We encountered an extremely rare case where a patient with cat eye syndrome (CES) who presented with symptoms of posterior semicircular canal dehiscence (PSCD). CES is a rare genetic disorder, resulting from duplication of chromosome 22. Patients may present with variable phenotypes, including characteristic of coloboma, heart defect, periauricular skin pit/tag, microtia, anal atresia and mildly retarded mental development in some cases. ⋯ In this study, we report a new otologic finding in CES patient as an association of PSCD and high jugular pulp. We describe the work up and its findings and the management of this patient. SIMILAR CASES PUBLISHED:: None.

Human papillomaviruses (HPVs) are small, non-enveloped, double-stranded DNA viruses that consist of more than 200 genotypes. Low-risk genotypes are associated with warts or benign lesions, whereas high-risk genotypes are usually associated with malignancies and cancers including cervical cancer. However, the real prevalence and incidence of HPV in Saudi Arabia may be understated due to a lack of comprehensive data reporting. ⋯ Single hospital and a convenience sample CONFLICT OF INTEREST: None.

Case ReportsTwenty-five year-old female with sudden onset itchy skin eruption over her upper back and chest three weeks after starting a ketogenic diet.
Prurigo pigmentosa is a rare pruritic inflammatory dermatosis with a unique staged clinicopathological presentation. It was first reported by Nagashima in 1971, and recently, more cases have been reported We introduce a case of a young Saudi female who developed biopsy proved prurigo pigmentosa after she followed strict ketogenic diet. Her condition resolved after she resumed a regular diet.

Body mass index and periodontal health status among young Saudi adults: a cross-sectional study.
Obesity has been suggested as a risk factor for periodontal disease. Despite the high prevalence of obesity and over-weight among Saudi population, no study has assessed whether there is an association between periodontal health status and body mass index (BMI). ⋯ None.
