Review Meta AnalysisThe efficacy of Botulinum Toxin A for limb spasticity on improving activity restriction and quality of life: a systematic review and meta-analysis using the GRADE approach.
A systematic review and meta analysis using the Grades of Recommendation, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. The aim was to evaluate the efficacy of Botulinum Toxin type A for limb spasticity on improving activity restriction and quality of life outcomes. ⋯ Botulinum Toxin A may improve active outcomes in the upper limb but further evidence is needed. No conclusion can be drawn about the effect on active outcomes for the lower limb or for quality of life measures in either limb.

A randomized controlled trial.
To investigate the comparative effectiveness of current standard treatment, against an individually tailored behavioural programme delivered via the Internet or face-to-face for people with acute whiplash associated disorders. ⋯ An individually tailored behavioural programme improved biopsychosocial factors in patients with whiplash associated disorders up to 12 months after treatment. Internet-delivered intervention was as effective as clinic-based face-to-face therapy sessions.

Evaluation of Timed Up and Go Test as a tool to measure postoperative function and prediction of one year walking ability for patients with hip fracture.
To evaluate if the Timed Up and Go Test is a useful tool to measure postoperative function and to predict one-year results of rehabilitation in patients operated owing to hip fracture. ⋯ The Timed Up and Go Test performed the fifth postoperative day was not a suitable tool to assess functional mobility for the majority of the patients with hip fractures in our study. Neither was the postoperative Timed Up and Go Test a suitable tool to predict the walking ability one year after the operation.

Review Meta Analysis Comparative StudyDo lifestyle restrictions and precautions prevent dislocation after total hip arthroplasty? A systematic review and meta-analysis of the literature.
A systematic literature review and meta-analysis on the effectiveness of lifestyle restrictions and precautions to prevent dislocation after total hip arthroplasty. ⋯ A more liberal lifestyle restrictions and precautions protocol will not lead to worse dislocation rates after total hip arthroplasty, but will lead to earlier and better resumption of activities and higher patient satisfaction. These results appear to hold up for various surgical approaches.
