Randomized Controlled TrialExtension traction treatment for patients with discogenic lumbosacral radiculopathy: a randomized controlled trial.
To investigate the effects of lumbar extension traction in patients with unilateral lumbosacral radiculopathy due to L5-S1 disc herniation. ⋯ The traction group receiving lumbar extension traction in addition to hot packs and interferential therapy had better effects than the control group with regard to pain, disability, H-reflex parameters and segmental intervertebral movements.

Orientation and mobility training for adults with low vision: a new standardized approach.
Orientation and mobility training aims to facilitate independent functioning and participation in the community of people with low vision. ⋯ A standardized, tailor-made orientation and mobility training for using the identification cane is available. The new theory-driven standardized training is generally applicable for teaching the use of every low-vision device. Its acceptability and effectiveness are currently being evaluated in a randomized controlled trial.

ReviewChinese manipulation for mechanical neck pain: a systematic review.
To assess whether Chinese manipulation improves pain, function/disability and global perceived effect in adults with acute/subacute/chronic neck pain. ⋯ There was limited evidence showing Chinese manipulation could produce short-term improvement for neck pain.

Randomized Controlled TrialUse of a goal setting intervention to increase adherence to low back pain rehabilitation: a randomized controlled trial.
To examine the effects of a goal setting intervention on self-efficacy, treatment efficacy, adherence and treatment outcome in patients undergoing low back pain rehabilitation. ⋯ The findings provide partial support for the use of goal setting to enhance adherence in clinical rehabilitation.
