To determine whether the Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS), a validated frailty tool, was associated with discharge destination. Secondary objectives were to determine whether the CFS was associated with in-hospital complications and length of stay. ⋯ Prognostic Level III. See Instructions for Authors for a complete description of levels of evidence.

Incidence of Knee Pain Beyond 1 Year: Suprapatellar Versus Infrapatellar Approach for Intramedullary Nailing of the Tibia.
To compare the magnitude of knee pain between the suprapatellar (SP) and infrapatellar (IP) approach for tibial nailing in patients who are more than 1 year after injury. ⋯ Therapeutic Level III. See Instructions for Authors for a complete description of levels of evidence.

Treatment of Distal Femur Fractures With the DePuy-Synthes Variable Angle Locking Compression Plate.
To determine the failure rate of the DePuy-Synthes variable angle locking compression curved condylar plate (VA-LCP) and quantify failure modes. ⋯ Therapeutic Level IV. See Instructions for Authors for a complete description of levels of evidence.

To compare the stability of 3 fixation strategies for a transverse acetabular fracture: a reconstruction plate with anterior and posterior column screws (group A); an infrapectineal precontoured quadrilateral surface buttress (iPQSB) plate alone (group B); and an anterior column lag-screw and iPQSB plate (group C). ⋯ Under anatomical loading, iPQSB plates with anterior column lag-screw fixation demonstrate increased stability in a synthetic bone transverse acetabular fracture model. Based on our data, we support additional evaluation of early weight-bearing after transverse acetabular fracture fixation in patients with healthy bone when an anterior column screw-iPQSB plate construct is used.

To correlate Q3DCT measurements of residual step-off, gap, and 3D multidirectional displacement of postoperative posterior malleolar fracture fragment reduction in patients with rotational type ankle fractures, with patients' clinical outcome using standardized patient- and physician-based outcome measures. ⋯ Prognostic Level II. See Instructions for Authors for a complete description of levels of evidence.
