Multicenter Study
Serum glucose levels for predicting death in patients admitted to hospital for community acquired pneumonia: prospective cohort study.
To examine whether acute dysglycaemia predicts death in people admitted to hospital with community acquired pneumonia. ⋯ Serum glucose levels on admission to hospital can predict death in patients with community acquired pneumonia without pre-existing diabetes. Effect of implementation of Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) programme on neonatal and infant mortality: cluster randomised controlled trial.

The IMNCI should be a part of India's strategy to achieve the millennium development goal on child survival.
