Disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) in multiple sclerosis (MS) may affect the course and outcome of COVID-19, but withholding them could permit disease activity. This study aimed to understand the course of COVID-19 in unvaccinated patients with MS on disease-modifying therapies. ⋯ These findings suggest that DMT may not adversely affect the course of COVID-19 in MS patients; however, patients on B-cell-depleting agents trended toward a worse outcome.

Chemokines not only regulate immune cells but also play significant roles in development and treatment of tumors and patient prognoses. However, these effects have not been fully explained in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). ⋯ This study resulted in the development of a novel prognostic model related to chemokine genes, providing new targets and theoretical support for HCC patients.

There is a lack of studies evaluating the COVID-19 pandemic effect on breast cancer detection according to age-group. This study aimed to assess the pandemic impact on the trend of mammograms, breast biopsies, and breast cancer stage at diagnosis according to age-group. ⋯ The pandemic has changed the stationary or increasing trend to a decreasing or stationary trend of mammograms, breast biopsies, and tumors at stages 0 to II but has not influenced the increasing trend of tumors at stages III and IV in all age-groups.

Nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) is a superfamily of transcription factors that plays a key role in cancer genesis and progression. The present study aimed to examine the expression of NF-κB/p65 in breast cancer and its relationship with prognostic markers such as tumour grade, tumour size, hormone receptors, and HER-2. ⋯ The current study is indicative of a link between overexpression of NF-κB/p65 and both large tumour size and higher grade. This suggests that the expression of NF-κB/p65 is associated with aggressive biological activity in breast cancer; elucidating the mechanisms that lead to NF-κB/p65 cytoplasmic accumulation could lead to the development of novel therapeutic methods.

The present study aims to investigate whether the dimple of Venus affects the anatomy of spinopelvic junction. ⋯ The dimple of Venus affects the anatomy of the spinopelvic junction and is associated with an increased pelvic incidence angle and a more sagittally oriented facet joint angle.
