The aim of this study was to evaluate how mobile medical teams (MMTs) search for the etiology of a cardiac arrest (CA) and to investigate the association between the discovery of etiology and patient outcome. ⋯ The current approach for etiologic evaluation is not ideal. Further research is needed to establish a more structured and simplified approach.

Pediatric Crohn's disease (CD) has a more aggressive phenotype and course than in adults. Many patients develop complications that require surgery. The aim of this study was to identify the factors associated with increased risk for surgical intervention in pediatric patients with CD. ⋯ Females with B2 or B2B3 or the presence of perianal disease at diagnosis are at a higher risk for surgery and should be considered for more aggressive medical treatments.

Malnutrition is associated with cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality. Arrhythmias may be the cardiac consequences of malnutrition. ⋯ Poor nutritional status, assessed by PNI and CONUT score, is associated with arrhythmic events on 24-h ECG Holter recording in patients without manifested arrhythmia.

The purpose of the study was to create an artificial intelligence (AI) system for detecting idiopathic osteosclerosis (IO) on panoramic radiographs for automatic, routine, and simple evaluations. ⋯ Deep learning-based AI algorithm has the potential to detect IOs accurately on panoramic radiographs. AI systems may reduce the workload of dentists in terms of diagnostic efforts.

The aim of this study was to review the use rituximab (RTX) and outcomes in immune-mediated glomerular diseases (glomerulonephritis [GN]) and to compare it to the established literature. ⋯ Our data support the use of RTX in resistant MCD and MN. RTX showed success in LN and IgG4-RD but not FSGS or C3GN. The small number of cases of vasculitis does not allow drawing a conclusion on RTX effectiveness.
