Multicenter Study Clinical TrialRadiomic features for prostate cancer detection on MRI differ between the transition and peripheral zones: Preliminary findings from a multi-institutional study.
To evaluate in a multi-institutional study whether radiomic features useful for prostate cancer (PCa) detection from 3 Tesla (T) multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) in the transition zone (TZ) differ from those in the peripheral zone (PZ). ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:184-193.

To propose a 3D quantitative high-resolution T1 mapping technique, called 3D SASHA (saturation-recovery single-shot acquisition), which combines a saturation recovery pulse with 1D-navigator-based-respiratory motion compensation to acquire the whole volume of the heart in free breathing. The sequence was tested and validated both in a T1 phantom and in healthy subjects. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:218-227.

To improve velocity-to-noise ratio (VNR) and dynamic velocity range of 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) by using dual-velocity encoding (dual-venc) with k-t generalized autocalibrating partially parallel acquisition (GRAPPA) acceleration. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:102-114.

Multishot cartesian turbo spin-echo diffusion imaging using iterative POCSMUSE Reconstruction.
To report a diffusion imaging technique insensitive to off-resonance artifacts and motion-induced ghost artifacts using multishot Cartesian turbo spin-echo (TSE) acquisition and iterative POCS-based reconstruction of multiplexed sensitivity encoded magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (POCSMUSE) for phase correction. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:167-174.

Comparative StudyIntravoxel incoherent motion modeling in the kidneys: Comparison of mono-, bi-, and triexponential fit.
To evaluate if a three-component model correctly describes the diffusion signal in the kidney and whether it can provide complementary anatomical or physiological information about the underlying tissue. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:228-239.
