Comparative StudyIntravoxel incoherent motion modeling in the kidneys: Comparison of mono-, bi-, and triexponential fit.
To evaluate if a three-component model correctly describes the diffusion signal in the kidney and whether it can provide complementary anatomical or physiological information about the underlying tissue. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:228-239.

Brain morphology and cortical thickness variations in systemic lupus erythematosus patients: Differences among neurological, psychiatric, and nonneuropsychiatric manifestations.
To determine whether systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) affecting subcortical white matter volumes, deep gray matter volumes, and cortical thickness differ between groups of SLE patients with psychiatric (P-SLE), neurological (N-SLE), or nonneuropsychiatric (non-NPSLE) presentations. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 3 J. Multiparametric MR diffusion-weighted imaging for monitoring the ultra-early treatment effect of sorafenib in human hepatocellular carcinoma xenografts.
To investigate the value of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) for monitoring the ultra-early (within 24 hours) treatment effect of sorafenib in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) xenografts. ⋯ Multiparametric DWI might evaluate therapeutic effects of sorafenib in HCC, where metrics of ADC, D, and MK could potentially serve as imaging biomarkers for monitoring therapeutic effects as early as 1 hour after treatment. Level of Evidence 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 4 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2017;46:248-256.
