Deep Learning Approach for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Lesion Detection: Evaluation of Diagnostic Performance Using Arthroscopy as the Reference Standard.
MRI is the most commonly used imaging method for diagnosing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. However, the interpretation of knee MRI is time-intensive and depends on the clinical experience of the reader. An automated detection system based on a deep-learning algorithm may improve interpretation time and reliability. ⋯ 3 TECHNICAL EFFICACY STAGE: 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2020;52:1745-1752.

Prediction Model for Intermediate-Stage Hepatocellular Carcinoma Response to Transarterial Chemoembolization.
The outcome of intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is greatly heterogeneous. Current means for predicting HCC response to TACE are lacking. ⋯ 1 TECHNICAL EFFICACY: Stage 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2020;52:1657-1667.

Observational StudyEffectively Measuring Exercise-Related Variations in T1ρ and T2 Relaxation Times of Healthy Articular Cartilage.
Determining the compositional response of articular cartilage to dynamic joint-loading using MRI may be a more sensitive assessment of cartilage status than conventional static imaging. However, distinguishing the effects of joint-loading vs. inherent measurement variability remains difficult, as the repeatability of these quantitative methods is often not assessed or reported. ⋯ 2 TECHNICAL EFFICACY STAGE: 1 J. MAGN. RESON. IMAGING 2020;52:1753-1764.

Resting-State Power and Regional Connectivity After Pediatric Mild Traumatic Brain Injury.
Physiological recovery from pediatric mild traumatic brain injury (pmTBI) as a function of age remains actively debated, with the majority of studies relying on subjective symptom report rather than objective markers of brain physiology. ⋯ 1 TECHNICAL EFFICACY: 2 J.
