Diffusion tensor imaging and T2 mapping in early denervated skeletal muscle in rats.
To evaluate the temporal changes of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) indices, T2 values, and visual signal intensity on various fat suppression techniques in the early state of denervated skeletal muscle in a rat model. ⋯ FA and T2 values can demonstrate the early temporal changes in denervated rat skeletal muscle.

Comparative Study3.0T, time-resolved, 3D flow-sensitive MR in the thoracic aorta: Impact of k-t BLAST acceleration using 8- versus 32-channel coil arrays.
To evaluate the performance of 4D flow MR in the thoracic aorta with 8- and 32-channel coil arrays using k-t BLAST and SENSE acceleration techniques and compare this to a conventional 2D SENSE approach. ⋯ 4D flow MR using k-t BLAST and 32 channel coils allows a reduction in total scan time while improving overall image quality compared to a standard 2D SENSE and 4D SENSE acquisitions. The use of 32 channels rather than 8 channels with the 4D k-t BLAST was also preferable in terms of image quality.

Comparative StudyAutomatic individual arterial input functions calculated from PCA outperform manual and population-averaged approaches for the pharmacokinetic modeling of DCE-MR images.
To introduce a segmentation method to calculate an automatic arterial input function (AIF) based on principal component analysis (PCA) of dynamic contrast enhanced MR (DCE-MR) imaging and compare it with individual manually selected and population-averaged AIFs using calculated pharmacokinetic parameters. ⋯ The automatic PCA-based approach minimizes the variability associated to obtaining individual volume-based AIFs in DCE-MR studies of the prostate.

Relationship between intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted MRI and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI in tissue perfusion of cervical cancers.
To investigate the relationship between intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) in cervical cancer perfusion. ⋯ The IVIM perfusion parameters showed moderate to good correlations with quantitative and semiquantitative perfusion parameters derived from DCE-MRI in cervical cancer.

Comparative StudyIntravoxel incoherent motion diffusion-weighted MR imaging of breast cancer at 3.0 tesla: Comparison of different curve-fitting methods.
To compare three different curve-fitting methods for intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) analysis in breast cancer. ⋯ IVIM-derived parameters differ depending on the calculation methods. The two-step fitting method with D value estimation first was correlated with DCE MRI perfusion.
