Retraction Of PublicationMicrostructural brain abnormalities of children of idiopathic generalized epilepsy with generalized tonic-clonic seizure: a voxel-based diffusional kurtosis imaging study.
To investigate the diffusion abnormalities in the brain of children with idiopathic generalized epilepsy (IGE) with generalized tonic-clonic seizure (GTCS) by using diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI). ⋯ The kurtosis parameters (K⊥ , K// , and MK) reflect different microstructural information in the IGE children with GTCS, and this support the value of DKI in studying children GTCS.

Comparative StudyAutomated segmentation of visceral and subcutaneous (deep and superficial) adipose tissues in normal and overweight men.
To develop an automatic segmentation algorithm to classify abdominal adipose tissues into visceral fat (VAT), deep (DSAT), and superficial (SSAT) subcutaneous fat compartments and evaluate its performance against manual segmentation. ⋯ The presented technique provides an accurate approach for the segmentation and quantification of abdominal fat depots.

Motion-compensated real-time MR thermometry augmented by tracking coils.
To develop and evaluate a real-time proton resonant frequency (PRF) based MR thermometry method with a novel motion compensation technique, using linear phase model and active tracking coils. ⋯ The new MR thermometry method using catheter-based tracking coils and linear phase model for motion compensation and phase correction is promising and may offer reliable MR thermometry for real-time MRI-guided thermal therapies.

Multicenter StudyPhase 3 efficacy and safety trial of gadobutrol, a 1.0 molar macrocyclic MR imaging contrast agent, in patients referred for contrast-enhanced MR imaging of the central nervous system.
Gadobutrol is a 1.0 M macrocyclic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent. A study was performed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of gadobutrol-enhanced versus unenhanced imaging for central nervous system (CNS) lesion visualization and detection. ⋯ Gadobutrol 1.0M is an effective and well-tolerated contrast agent for CNS MRI.

Comparative StudyMRI of the carotid artery at 7 Tesla: quantitative comparison with 3 Tesla.
To evaluate the 7 Tesla (T) MRI of the carotid arteries, as quantitatively compared with 3T. ⋯ Evaluation between 3T and 7T carotid MRI with optimized setups at both field strengths showed improved SNR at 7T, an increase in vessel wall T1 and a decrease in vessel wall T2.
