Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative StudyMulticenter, intra-individual comparison of single dose gadobenate dimeglumine and double dose gadopentetate dimeglumine for MR angiography of the peripheral arteries (the Peripheral VALUE Study).
To prospectively compare single dose gadobenate dimeglumine with double dose gadopentetate dimeglumine for CE-MRA in patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD) using an intra-individual crossover study design in which all patients received both contrast agents in otherwise identical CE-MRA examinations. ⋯ Image quality and diagnostic performance on peripheral CE-MRA with 0.1 mmol/kg gadobenate dimeglumine is at least equivalent to that with 0.2 mmol/kg gadopentetate dimeglumine.

Characterization and limitations of diffusion tensor imaging metrics in the cervical spinal cord in neurologically intact subjects.
To characterize diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) metrics across all levels of the cervical spinal cord (CSC) and to study the impact of age and signal quality on these metrics. ⋯ This study provides DTI data for GM and WM funiculi throughout the CSC. While DTI metrics may be used to define cord pathology, variations in metrics due to age and signal quality need to be accounted for before making definitive conclusions.

To evaluate a new fat suppression technique using multiple fat suppression pulses intended for breast dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) imaging using segmented three-dimensional fast field echo (FFE). ⋯ DFS is a promising fat suppression technique for breast imaging even in regions with B1 (+) inhomogeneity.

Randomized Controlled TrialOptimizing MRI scan time in the computation of pharmacokinetic parameters (K(trans) ) in breast cancer diagnosis.
To assess the effects of reduced scan time in dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) of breast for the evaluation of pharmacokinetic parameters (K(trans) , ve , and kep ). ⋯ Reducing the acquisition time for the K(trans) and ve measurement up to 60 seconds yields reasonable accuracy for both and can be incorporated in the routine DCE-MRI protocol for evaluation of enhancing breast lesions.

Comparative Study3D coronary MR angiography at 1.5 T: Volume-targeted versus whole-heart acquisition.
To compare volume-targeted acquisition with whole-heart acquisition in 1.5-T free-breathing 3D coronary magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) with parallel imaging. ⋯ For current 1.5-T navigator coronary MRA, volume-targeted and whole-heart acquisitions have their own advantages and the choice of methods may vary in accordance with the different aims of clinical practice.
