Accelerated T2 mapping combining parallel MRI and model-based reconstruction: GRAPPATINI.
Quantitative T2 measurements are sensitive to intra- and extracellular water accumulation and myelin loss. Therefore, quantitative T2 promises to be a good biomarker of disease. Age-related changes in fiber tracts in healthy adult brains: A generalized q-sampling and connectometry study.
Generalized q-sampling (GQI) and connectometry analysis provide new indices, i.e., quantitative anisotropy (QA) and spin distribution function (SDF) in comparison with diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Aortic valve stenosis and aortic diameters determine the extent of increased wall shear stress in bicuspid aortic valve disease.
Use of 4-dimensional flow magnetic resonance imaging (4D-flow MRI) derived wall shear stress (WSS) heat maps enables identification of regions in the ascending aorta with increased WSS. These regions are subject to dysregulation of the extracellular matrix and elastic fiber degeneration, which is associated with aortic dilatation and dissection. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Role of intravoxel incoherent motion MRI in early assessment of the response of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma to chemoradiotherapy: A pilot study.
