To examine the feasibility of fetal RHD genotyping at 11-13 weeks' gestation from analysis of circulating cell-free fetal DNA (ccffDNA) in the plasma of RhD negative pregnant women using a high-throughput robotic technique. ⋯ The findings demonstrate the feasibility and accuracy of non-invasive fetal RHD genotyping at 11-13 weeks with a high-throughput technique.

Normal ranges of embryonic length, embryonic heart rate, gestational sac diameter and yolk sac diameter at 6-10 weeks.
To construct normal ranges for embryonic crown-rump length (CRL), heart rate (HR), gestational sac diameter (GSD) and yolk sac diameter (YSD) at 6-10 weeks of gestation. ⋯ This study established normal ranges for early pregnancy biometry.

Review Case ReportsMirror syndrome: a systematic review of fetal associated conditions, maternal presentation and perinatal outcome.
Mirror syndrome, also referred to as Ballantyne's syndrome, is normally defined as the development of maternal edema in association with fetal hydrops. The incidence of mirror syndrome is low and few cases have been published. We describe a case report in association with fetal Ebstein anomaly and provide a systematic review on the fetal associated conditions, maternal presentation and perinatal outcome reported for mirror syndrome. ⋯ Mirror syndrome is associated with a substantial increase in fetal mortality and maternal morbidity.

Reversible ductus arteriosus constriction due to maternal indomethacin after fetal intervention for hypoplastic left heart syndrome with intact/restrictive atrial septum.
Fetal cardiac intervention (FCI) has been performed at our center in selected fetuses with complex congenital heart disease since 2000. Most interventions are performed in fetuses with a ductus arteriosus (DA)-dependent circulation. Indomethacin promotes closure of the DA in newborns and in fetal life, a potentially life threatening complication in fetuses with ductus-dependent congenital heart disease. ⋯ Close echocardiographic monitoring of fetal Doppler flow velocities is very important after fetal intervention and indomethacin treatment, as the consequences of DA constriction in a fetus with hypoplastic left heart syndrome are potentially lethal. Sonographic evaluation should include measurement of cerebral and umbilical arterial flow velocities as well as color and spectral Doppler interrogation of the DA.

Lung tissue blood perfusion changes induced by in utero tracheal occlusion in a rabbit model of congenital diaphragmatic hernia.
To analyze the impact of in utero tracheal occlusion (TO) on lung tissue blood perfusion, as measured by fractional moving blood volume (FMBV) and conventional spectral Doppler, in a rabbit model of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). ⋯ Tracheal occlusion is consistently associated with increased lung tissue perfusion and decreased intrapulmonary impedance in a rabbit model of CDH.
