[Inappropriate prescribing in polymedicated patients over 64 years-old in primary care].
To describe inappropriate prescribing (IP) in the polymedicated population over 64 years-old in primary care using the STOPP/START criteria. ⋯ IP in polymedicated patients in primary care was very high. IP was similar for drugs that should be withdrawn or started. The most common causes of IP were antiplatelet agents, benzodiazepines and drug duplication.

[Potentially excluded population from health coverage and health impact since Royal Decree 16/2012: The Central Catalonia experience].
To assess the proportion of population potentially excluded from healthcare coverage since the Royal Decree-Law 16/2012. To describe the use of health services, the distribution of chronic and infectious diseases, and the pharmaceutical costs in 2012 of the persons potentially excluded compared to the those who maintain their coverage. ⋯ The results of the study suggests that this legislative measure does not seem to be justified for medical or economic reasons. It could also cause public health problems and contribute to the risk of social fracture.

To estimate the prevalence of burnout and the perception of teamwork in Primary Care teams from Barcelona. ⋯ The level of burnout among professionals is considerable, with differences existing between occupational categories. Teamwork and appreciating their leaders protect from burnout.

The aim of the study was to determine the concentration of fluoride in natural mineral waters marketed in Spain in order to prevent tooth decay without the risk of causing dental fluorosis ⋯ Fluoride concentrations in natural mineral waters showed high variation. Given the growing consumption of natural mineral waters in Spain, this type of information is important to make proper use of fluoride in the primary prevention of dental caries.
